I didn't realize SpongeBob was very big in Japan. Is it? Wild. I remember it premiering on Nickelodeon too. It wasn't really a favorite, but I still watched it often. The jukebox hero episode is still epic.

I thought sponge bob was pulled off the air in Japan?

The food in these pop ups is almost never good. Is it really just full of people taking social media photos of their food? I’m all about a themed experience but I want good food or what’s the point. It was all super cute tho. I would’ve wanted pretty patties. How dare they make a SpongeBob cafe and not make pretty patties.

Can I shop at the gift shop without eating at the cafe? Seems like the cafe sells out quick
