Actually yes you can connect it to your phone. You just need a USB adapter. For my phone I just need a USB to USB C adapter. You can do this with any keyboard or mouse with a USB connection.

Well that's 5 minutes of my life I'll never get back .

OK, so how do you turn on the backlight?

I used an i8 for about 2 years, until it died on me. I loved it so much I'm looking for a new Rii mini keyboard to replace it.

I use the Mini X1 when having to log on to TV streaming services and need to write in password and email addresses. Also I saw online that if you do loss your dongle you can order another one for a few dollars.

If his voice was a typeface it wouldn't so much be the font (accent) as I find it awesome! It's more the kerning. Like, I feel like there was LSD involved then this video was explained. It's so much in how it's delivered. It's funny and quite entertaining... but odd. I guess that's why the dislikes? IDK, because I found it was quite informative on exactly what I was looking for.

Do you reckon it works over OTG?

Mine was DOA. Would not even charge. Seems a common problem for this vendor if you Google it. So probably no point replacing it. Wish I had not relied on your favorable review. Now for the fun game of trying to get my money back.

I can’t change volume

Stopped working after a month and cant fix the issue: Flashing yellow light keeps coming on which doesn't get fixed with the F1 and turn on device tactic (green light goes away and device shows no flashing light until you press any keyboard)...junk!

Ohhh no lights under the keys.. shit i wanted to control my kalipi in the dark too .. now i bought it .. shit happens ;D

biggest downfall on this unit is NO BACKLIGHT, otherwise this would have been perfect for tv media. ended up buying Rii i8 "$30-AU" with backlight "Genuine" works great , not the 3 backlightlight display fakes "got that too dont waste you money"
