in korean terms, whitening means even skin tone and not bleaching your skin colour 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi..thanks for the video. What I learnt a couple of years ago is that K-Beauty and J-beauty they use the word “whitening” as/to mean “brightening”. Unless it’s one of their actual bleaching products, but then it’s marketed differently. So just a difference in words (even though it’s misleading to the rest of the world). Just like in K-Beaty the word “skin” is sometimes used for what would be called a toner and in J-beauty the word “lotion” is used for a toner. So someone could think a product is an actual lotion and then the person does not add on a moisturiser, meanwhile they’re just using a toner.

Exactly! Just goes to show how global the world has become with all these different cultural meanings and terminologies. It’s truly beautiful to be learning throughout this process of all of them. 🥰🥰

I nearly ordered the mini from yestyle but then saw the full size was on sale and bought it instead since rice water seems to work well with my skin, I also bought the I'm from mini honey mask since I have dry skin

@@liyah7901 I didn’t really see much affects from using the rice toner but the honey mask was really great for hydration during the dry winter months

I love this toner, it’s great for sensitive skin

I’m currently using the isntree green tea toner and whilst I love it, I was torn between purchasing that one and this one that you’ve reviewed. I think I may try this one next just to see the difference. Thanks for taking the time to do this review. ❤

OMG! I’m in the same predicament. What’s your skin type?

I got this Toner like 3 weeks ago and still on testing! I definitely like how it feels after applying the toner, kind of silky-smooth-feel. And yes it’s really hydrating and it stays hydrated for long time. I really hope that this toner does something for dark spots(caused by acne).... let’s see! And I really liked how you deriver us your thoughts! Hope you’ll reach 1000 subs soon!!!

it said in the description of the toner that it is whitening so i'm kind of skectical to buying it as i don't want my skin color to become lighter and look like a zombie. I have dark skin btw
