It's crazy that Temple of Doom is so underrepresented character wise. I really wish that we got Mola Ram or at least Willie. I honestly would have bought any Kingdom of the Crystal Skull figures too, Irina and Mutt being my biggest wants.

It's such a shame that this line's probably dead already. I really wish we got some KotCS figures, or like, a third character from Temple of Doom. Mola Ram was cancelled for whatever reason but Willie would've been nice in her Shanghai dress. Elsa is my favourite from this wave. I wonder if her alternate head can go on the Tala Imperial Officer body to make Juno Eclipse from The Force Unleashed?

Mola Ram was cancelled for PC woke reasons. There was a big flap in the Hasbro forums about the villains there supposedly being "racist" and the virtue signals involved.

Your voice combined with the background music can be so soothing and relaxing, very much in contrast to other KZreadrs. Thank you Luke!

I absolutely love that Cairo Indy, easily my favorite version of him from the line. Devastated this line is over already. Feel like it just started going 😢

This line had such great potential but got ruined by the lack of villains and missing main characters I only collected them because I managed to make customs for colonial Dietrich and Vogel

@@KyleStyle3DArtist26 I used the movie magneto heads from the marvel legends two pack and sculpted a hat for Vogel and used an action force hat for Dietrich, their not 100% but it works

@@ComradeBobcat39 Hi - keen to know more details as want a Vogel too. Which Action Force hat did you use as thought AF were only 3" scale? What body did you use? Which Magneto head was it - from the movie Mags & Prof X set? Which head did you use - Fassbender one? Cheers.

@@Paul_1971 so I used the Walter Donovan body from the adventure series for both officers and for Vogel I used the old magneto head and sculpted a officer hat onto the head and painted the body black since I wanted his look from early in the movie and used thick paper for the straps I only used the 6 inch (valaverse) action force hat for Dietrich

I really hope this isn't the end. It would take only 16-18 figures to fill the biggest holes and make at least four out of the five movies feel somewhat complete. And that's really not too much to ask, considering the strong re-usability in the line.

I can't believe we didn't get a German Mechanic, Cairo Swordsman, Mola Ram, Willie, or Gisnt Thugee Guard! Instead we get a bunch of Dial of Destiny no one wants

If this is the last wave, it’s a shame, love this line….great review!

One thing I'm still annoyed with as far as the half-accomplished representation of Dial of Destiny is that none of the figues actually have the titular Dial as an accessory to handle/fight over. If you're thinking of doing more 3D print stuff for Indy, doing the Dial and maybe some related accessories/scenebuilding would be really appreciated to fill that particular gap.

Great timing Luke, I was JUST unboxing my Grail Knight figure when I got the notification for this. Can’t wait for Elsa to come in, she’s the last one I need! Really hope the line isn’t over, we still need Crystal Skull figures!

Hello Luke thanks for sharing your thoughts on the "final" Indy figures. Definitely looks like a great line of figures, I just don't have the money to afford them. I would have collected all of the Raiders figures if I could, that is my personal favorite Indy movie. Honestly I never watched Crystal Skull or the last one Dial of Destiny, just no interest at all. Of these figures you went through in this video, the Knight looks the best even with that troublesome cape. I would have gotten him and Indy's father for myself. I really hope this isn’t the end and Hasbro is just taking a break to focus back on the ghostbusters wave. Really hoping for a kingdom of the crystal skull wave. Maybe a reason (this is just me guessing) that we don’t have another wave, is because it’s called “build an artefact” and to be honest, besides the alien skeletons. What other artefact can they make for this line? I don’t know. I’m most likely in denial and hoping this isn’t it.

The Grail Knight and Henry Jones Sr. are going to be definite pickups! Can’t wait to find them in store when I can!

I'd be so bummed if we never see any more from this line. There's at least two more waves worth of figures they could do, or that I'd like to see at least. So far I've picked up Henry Jones Sr., Elsa Schneider and Jürgen Voller from this wave, not sure yet if I'll circle back and get the rest, I've mostly got all the figures I really wanted from this series, but if I see them on sale in a few months I might get a few to finish out some of the artefacts. I think Elsa's likeness is close, honestly the render I think is slightly closer, I think it's just that her eyes are a bit too small, at least to me. Looking at the package art and the film itself she had a fairly expressive wide-eyed look to her, which I think the figure misses slightly. That said Henry Jones and Jürgen Voller I think have really solid likenesses, Voller especially. For me there's really just three figures I wish we'd see get made, Mola Ram, Marion in her Nepal appearance and Sallah from the Last Crusade, I like to have my own definitive looks for characters and the Marion and Sallah we've seen so far are a bit too scene specific for me, I prefer those looks for those characters and if we can get two Belloq's why not two of them too? Mola Ram I think goes without saying as the most wanted figure for this line, but I'd also take any kind of army builder, I think those could sell pretty well beyond just Indiana Jones collectors. Either way I personally am pretty happy with this line, it's the only Hasbro line that I've really gone all out on this year, Black Series and Marvel Legends I've only picked up three or four of, but this line is filling the shelf for me.

I remember Dr Schnieder being extremely attractive. The figure's face portrait doesn't do her justice. The figures look pretty good from what I've seen. A shame there are no German troops for Indy to fight.

They should just do Pulse only releases if they dont want some of those "controversial" villians at regular retail

It's really a pity that this is all we're getting. I'd like at least one more wave with some Crystal Skull figures and a few major missing pieces (Mola Ram, Willie Scot). But tbh, trying to collect both these and Black Series has broken my wallet, so I'm kinda sorta glad they're done.

BEAUTIFUL collection here..WOW!! I myself have just finished the collection. Sadly this will be the last of the line. It would be cool if they continued with more figs e.g., Willie Smith(the blonde), Mola Ram, Little Maharaja, Lao Che, Satipo, etc. The Dial of Destiny was most excellent. Just finished watching that too. Maybe the next Haslab could be that Nazi plane, the flying wing, from Raiders of the Lost Ark with tier one being the bald big German, Indy fist fights with. 😁🎬🎥

My favorite of the films so far (also have not seen DoD yet), this was the only full wave I got and can't wait to get them. I really hope they release a bike for Indy and Henry Sr. to ride in...maybe with an open umbrella accessory as well for Henry!

I love this line but the glaring omission of some core figures like Mola Ram and some of the shall we say troublesome bad guys is a shame. I would’ve even liked Crystal Skull figures. That movie is a masterpiece next to the Dial. Thanks for covering the line.

Movie bombed hard, killed any plans for merchandise

The build an artifact was a sneaky way to move the obvious peg warmer schlock. A pity to see slots taken away from major trilogy villains.

Cairo Indy is my favorite one from the line! I have all of the figures in this besides Brody 2-pack. I really like this line, it’s a bummer it’s probably done and we won’t see Mola Ram or any characters from KOTCS

I would love to see a young Indy figure from the last crusade in the adventure series.

Shame we probably won’t get more Temple of Doom figures. Crystal Skull would be cool to get too. At least we got some nice Last Crusade figures, my favorite film. Honestly not sure if I regret picking some of these figures up or not, knowing that it is probably ending.

Hoping for more. To have Belloq and not have Marion in the white dress is stupefying. Plus, gotta gotta gotta have Mola Ram!!!

I'm saving my pennies to get most of this collection. In the meantime, I can enjoy yours. Thanks for sharing. They made Elsa look a little too masculine. Too bad. As far as Indies, it would've been better to have one or a few with more interchangeable parts, but of course Hasbro won't think this way (which is why we had so many Obi Wans from the show) 🤦🏻‍♂

This line would have done much better if it wasn't "Indiana Jones in Various States of Undress." If you're so afraid that you're going to be catering to neo-Nazis that you can't make German soldiers then maybe you shouldn't have touched the line at all.

Honestly I have to agree. Same about the Indian characters. I'm someone who thinks Temple of Doom has offensive stereotypes in it and shouldn't be made today. But it is a classic movie that's an important part of this series. If you're going make a new movie and merch based on this series, do it properly. Don't release figures for a movie and have 75% of them being the same main character with only one sidekick as the other figure. Same with Lego. Don't create a set, have it get to the production stage, have box art ready for it and then cancel it.
