I really love you channel and enjoy reading Murakami short stories. However, I find it difficult to read "Tenth of December" (maybe it is because of my poor English skill) It is my foreign language. Could you please make a video about "Tenth of December" 🙏 I like the way you explained in details. Thank you so much.

Tenth of December is also difficult because Saunders uses a very quirky “working class” voice in a lot of his stories. There are a lot of stories in there so I don’t know if I could make an entire video about it. Was there a particular short story that you wanted to discuss?

edited. I'm Thai. So English is my foreign language. Could you do The first story "Victory Lab" please🙏 As a Thai, I think maybe I have problems to understand the American jokes and slangs in "Tenth of December". Talking about Murakami, he is Japanese so I could understand a lot of asian culture and his perspective. I finished "The Elephant Vanishes" by Him. I understand the stories very well 70-80% but for Saunders is 50%. Love you channel and article in Medium. Thank you so much🙏 From Thailand

@@kunslipper Hmm, is there a particular reason you want to read George Saunders? He is pretty difficult to read if, like you said, he uses a weird American slang. If you want to read him though, I'd suggest his novel Lincoln in the Bardo. It's his best work and in my opinion not too hard to read!

@@ABooktubeChannel Actually, I don't have a particular reason. I founded Saunders from the podcasts "The History of Literature" The guest said that the author is some kind of Buddhist philosophy. So I want to read the book so I have to order it from an overseas market but I get stuck with just chapter 1 and feel bad. I personally love Literature and I use novels as an English teacher because I don't have a chance to go abroad. Below is my thought about novels from my diary it named "THE ACHIEVEMENTS" Dear readers, Hello, my dear readers, I'm glad to see you again. I do a lot of reading when l have free time. I think Longman is a wonderful book to dip into for all sorts of fascinating information. This is a well-written with a readable introduction to the subject of linguistics. It's an interesting book, and well worth reading. For me, after plowing through so many huge textbooks, it was a relief to pick up a novel again. I also spent my free time reading up on the subjects I would be studying at college. So I run a project called 'Forward to Literary'. Winston Churchill says ''It is a good thing for an uneducated man to read books of quotations.'' My Early Life, 1930. Apparently, over the last hundred years, people have become healthier, more literate, and better educated. Every student should be literate by the time they leave primary school. By the way, It's about the achievements of reading. I guarantee you can do it if you put a hundred percent in your reading. To tell you the truth, tomorrow, I will start my Online Learning. I'm not sure if I will have the time to write more letters because I might be too busy trying to "participate." So, if this does end up being my last letter, please believe that things are good with me, and even when they're not, they won't last long. By the bye, every dog has its day, the wise man says everyone has good luck or success at some point in their life. And I believe the same about you. Ps. I interested in your content about "Digimodernism" I'm looking forward to reading it.

@@kunslipper Interesting thoughts! Well, when I get some time in March, I'll try to make a video about George Saunders. Definitely recommend Lincoln in the Bardo, it's a rewarding read.
