I used to try and draw the deer in the back of my mother’s magazines as a child, but I have not really attempted to do this since. I do hope to develop drawing talent though, and admire it so much in others. Condolences on your pups…they do leave a hole in your life when they leave us. Thanks for sharing your artwork and inspiring me to start a sketchbook.

You are such a gifted artist! And although you mentioned that you didn’t intend for your little animals to be characters in storybooks, I can’t help but look at them and dream up a charming storyline for each of them!

Thank you for your kind words! 😊 I think it's likely one day I'll get more interested in book illustration! I'm just a little daunted by the prospect of having to draw the same character in many poses 🤭

My friend left her friend dog sitting, and the dog ran off. It’s awful cause my friend is a dog groomer, has her own business and has to show up regardless of her broken heart. Thank you for sharing the summary of your month’s work. Great idea. I’d like to copy that. Good work!

I left my dog with a dog sitter when he was 6 months old and he got hit by a car. He survived after spending 3 days in the icu at the vet. It was awful. I’m so sorry for your friend. It’s terrible when something like that happens.
