Review & Unboxing Oarlike Tianxun TX 850 Metal Detector
This is our updated metal detector, works great, and is not too hard to learn for beginners. stable and handles bad dirt pretty well, amazing modulated audio, accurate ID at depth (for a single frequency machine), very tight/responsive/FAST even with the stock coil. It's extremely good in iron. It also is surprisingly good for park hunting- even with 2 tones it's so zippy and accurate down to the 7” range on hard turf you can dig a bunch of dimes/quarters quickly with precise “sizing” of targets. Also has a TRUE All threshold metal mode- something that's become very rare and is deadly when learned.

Nice detector
Excellent review , i loved the camera work, nice clean video and easy to watch. Much better than some or most of the "professional" brand name sellers i have seen! What frequency does this operate on? I believe the Garrett coils as you mention that are very similar are even interchangeable ? I have always used Garrett but decided to buy a couple of Chinese knockoffs , ie Raider and Garrett Ace ,i try to keep an open mind ;-) and found them to actually be very good and in some cases better than the brand name detectors , but not all. Keep up the good work, would like to see a depth test in comparison to the Garrett or G2

It's 19 Khz like the Fisher F19, and Teknetics G2+ from First Texas.

I’ve just brought this tx850 can’t fully discriminate medals it’s still picking up some metal small bearing, rusted and some metal It’s horrible at the beach gotta keep balance it manual. Balance discrimination is horrible. If I set the discriminator to 70 to 80 doesn’t pick up any metal just say, I want to cut out all the metal unwonted it, even cuts out all jewelry coins silver 😢 i’m gonna return it to eBay Not sure if something is wrong with it
nasty copy of the teknetics g2, shouldn't be allowed to sell.
