Great video on explaining this controller.

I ordered this controller because of your positive review, however I am experiencing a lot of issues so far. The controller did not turn on right out of the box, after some trouble and googling I managed to recover it using the Steelseries repair software, however that was the best part of two hours gone. After I had set it up properly I found out that a lot of games straight up do not support it. It does not work with Dirt Rally and in other games the controls are weird and reversed. I am gonna return it and get a Dualshock or an xbox controller instead. Very disappointed :(

I have the problem at the moment so I had my first controller SteelSeries Nimbus + it did not work after 1 std nothing worked and then I delivered it back and got a new one but it does not charge either, it flashes but only a light and nothing happens

It pairs with my imac, but when I go to apple arcade games the controller doesnt work. Am I doing something wrong? Bluetooth says it's paired on on, but not sure why it wont work.

I like the SNES wireless controller. However Switch controllers do not pair with iOS devices. I also looked into the 8bitdo SNES syled controller but it wouldnt work as well.

Can you play Minecraft with it on an iPad with the app? Pls answer would appreciate it a lot

Finding this Nimbus+ to be awesome when I’m playing an Apple Arcade game like NBA 2K23 on my Mac. The retailer I bought mine from, JB Hi-Fi price matched Apple’s online store so got it for $139-usually $169 here in Australia.

Just bought one 3 weeks ago. It died, froze, became unresponsive. Tried everything. Tried the Nimbus app to see if it was maybe a firmware issue. App didn’t work either. Sent it back to Amazon and the replacement just arrived today. So far so good. Hopefully this will last a little bit longer this time. Other than that they are good controllers for everything iOS.

Mine stopped working today. Turned off all of a sudden and wont turn back on anymore even if i charge it, the adapter gets hot but led light doesn’t come up.

What makes you say this is the best controller available for MacOS? There is limited compatibility in my current experience, almost none with Steam I don't think.

you have to go into settings then bluetooth to turn off there, it will only go into sleep mode if you turn it off from the control centre

Mine is stuck on. All the lights are on but I can’t use it. And it’s been on for over 50 hours. It won’t DIE. Like wtf.

This controller did great, as it paired easily and after a 4 hour charge- showed full, I managed to play minecraft for about 2 hours and it un-paired, could not get it to re-pair or anything, so quit and put it on charge, overnite at least 12 hours,, I tried it the next day and it paired fine and connected, played for about another 2 hours and it did the same thing, unpaired ,, this thing says it is suppose to run for 40-50 hours of playing time, WELL NOT MINE IT SUCKS..

Can we play PES or Fifa ?

I bought the older one by accident without realising that it would have L3 & R3 functions blocked as it does not press in. I’ve been half contemplating buying the new version or to just buy the PS controller.

I’d recommend the steel series. Steel series has 50 hours of battery life, has a detachable phone holder, and it’s only $10 more if you were to get it instead of the PS4 controller. Ps4 only has 8 hours of battery life 🤷🏽‍♂️.

Jamming on CODM and loved the old version. RHS got sticky and WD40 didn't work. Like fighting two battles at one time. So, SMACK, said the pavement. Gotz this new one on the way....thanks for the helpful review.

Doesn’t work. I just bought mine for the pubg.

I can’t freaking get it to show up on my iPad Pro. And it drops out so often and is ridiculously hard to reconnect. It’s finicky. I can’t stand this freaking thing. As generation X I really resent the removal of plug and play, it’s not an improvement in my experience at all.

I had one of these back when iOS 7, I think it was, first started supporting game controllers. It’s a good controller, but there’s no reason not to use the PS4 controller (or Xbox One if you like it more) with an iPhone... personally I got a second controller just so I could use it with my PC and phone. Plus I use the controller wired to my laptop so it can still connect to my phone with Bluetooth so it doesn’t have to be paired each time!

In my experience MFi controllers are easier to use with multiple Apple devices. My Xbox controller does NOT like being paired with more than one device at a time, meaning I have to go through the entire pairing process EVERY TIME I try to switch it between my iPhone and iPad. With my MFi controller I just have to disconnect from the control center on one device and reconnect on the other. Of course if you’re only going to connect to one device, then this is a non-issue. Also I don’t whether the PS4 controller has the same limitation or not.

I just spent about half an hour looking for the USB charger cable for this gamepad...then realized, it's just the Apple lightning cable.

That wasn’t a Nimbus you were using. That’s a Stratus XL. Good controller but the original Nimbus was much better. Essentially you compared a Nimbus+ to a Status XL.

How do you enable the vibration function? Apparently I saw an option for that on Zen pinball party.

U can change the square and x thing in Fortnite to the normal ybxa in the settings.

Ok so I have a steelseries nimbus for 4 years now and it starting to give errors but the steelseries nimbus is too expensive on Amazon so I wanted to get the steelseries nimbus + as it’s cheaper should I get it as I am a Mcpe serious player and need the same feel as the steelseries nimbus, someone please reply

It’s sad when you recommend something as the best and never post a follow up when significant number of people are having a multitude of issues. Hope that likely Steelseries payday was big enough to compromise your integrity.

Mine works fine. Has changed gaming on my iPhone completely. Especially for CODM. This controller makes any compatible game go from “eh, ok” to “another win, another high score”.

Don't believe in him. He must take in money from steelseries. This is quite a rubbish controller, which can not even charging successfully. Anyone who buys it will feel like eating shit.
