Also being as they could massively decrease the cost due to mass production they could get it down around 120-150

I enjoy coop casually dropping that he owns an actual shotgun which makes his glee at a dart blaster kinda funny but cute

I like that the slamshot shoots on dart per shot but the meaning of “slam shot” is holding down the trigger while wracking so it loads every shell very fast

About time we got some good shotgun designs. This seems to be based on the Kel-Tec KSG. I'd like to see a new double barrel design from Nerf as well. Fun fact, the real thing has two chambers, as commenters corrected me.

Nah, this is not a bullpup, so it is closer to a classic 870 design. The slim straight line aesthetic does resemble KSG a little bit, but I think it is more for the simplification of the 3D printing.

NO, the KSG has 2 MAG TUBES, each holding 7 for a total capacity of 14. The DP-12 has 2 barrels AND 2 mag tubes.

The ksg is ( i might be wrong) a bullpup shotgun with three barrels. This is based off of the r870

If the creator is willing to start printing with nylon, then the heat will stop being an issue, but for a printer to handle nylon, and the nylon itself, would be quite the investment. Definitely would increase the overall cost of the product.

It seems like it used the same mechanisms as a real pump with the rails, tube mag, ejector and everything

I'd say $180-ish for a full on Nerf shotgun with an actual proper shell system is pretty cheap, specially when you consider this is a 100% custom job.
