I have three pairs of TLB's. Once I worked with Tony and found him responsive and sincere, there was no reason to go elsewhere. His shoes are certainly the best I've found for the money. In fact I have shoes that cost twice as much that don't measure up to this attention to detail and quality. Plus, shipment was fast and tracking was accurate.

@@krisztianszabo3588 There’s a conversion chart on their website and also easily found on the internet. I own three pairs of TLBs and love them. I was also wary about not getting the right size, but it was no problem. I asked a few questions via email before I made my first purchase and was promptly answered by a very pleasant person. I highly recommend this company. ☝️🥴

I have the 112 black cap toe Oxford. They really are that good in my opinion. Nothing loud to catch your attention with a simple shoe, but the details sum up.

I have the Bronson split toe double leather sole JR. Black. Madison last 680 model. 3 weeks to my hands. Good weight. Superb! 290 next.

I hope to see you review some boots like Solovair's Southeners or Derby boots, and do a mirror shine on them. I'd gladly send you a pair!

I also have one question, on camera these appear almost black but how do they appear in person? Lighter or darker brown and any undertones you’ve noticed?

@@ireiaand they were definitely lighter before I shined them but darkened a little with polish. They look chocolate brown in person. Don’t look black at all but do appear very dark and rich brown.

Yeah I knew TLB were great shoes but now I really see the quality. Carmina has a serious opponent and I have 2 Carmina shoes.

I have a pair of TLB’s but they crease very much whenever I wear them sadly, it might be because the size is a bit too small though

Try derbies, because if their open lacing they tend to suit better on wide feet

It sounds like you might need to try wide sizes which TLB happens to have through their MTO program. That adjustment worked for me.

It’s the same design as the 112 (same Goya last) but with a seamless heel although you can change the last if you decide to customize it.

No, it’s full grain calfskin.

Awfully boring shoes. Nothing can beat a semi-brogue or full-brogue in a rich brown or burgundy. I am sure the quality is excellent, but black Oxfords? No, thank you!

The shoes aren’t black, they are dark brown. I like brogues myself but they are not appropriate wear for certain occasions and thus, a plain captoe is a staple.
