How is the self noise without signal? Is it less or more than those Kali 2nd waves I saw there? Kali did an awesome job with the -12dB noise reduction from the V1's.
Hi, thx for the video. I read that there is a auto standby function on these. Can you confirm that? And after what time the monitor goes into idle mode?

Can seem to find a frequency chart for the speakers they should be flat right?
I'm working with r65 (old versión) for techno music production. I have to say these monitors are AMAZING. I have no Idea how are in mastering, but for mixing and arrange my music r65s are perfect.

Thanks! I think it's the same in the end, more depends on the whole configuration. But these sound very very good!
Ribbon tweeters always sound good when recording from a mic in a room and playing it back. It sounds much more natural like headphones

Hi. which monitors do you think are better? Focal Alpha 65 evo or PreSonus r65 v2? I would mix mostly hip-hop and deephouse on it

I'm in between PreSonus E8 Eris XT / Kali IN-8 V2 / Focal Alpha 65 EVO / Focal Alpha 80 (Mainly for DJing Techno music) Any advice / suggestions?

Yeah, you're taste and fasination but.....watch out and buy the right inch and demping the room (more important then the brand monitor)

Focal has nice lows. Kali I’m not sure about since they had malfunction after 15mins in the speakertest we did 😬 came straight out of the box and the seller was pretty flabbergasted

@@insideaudio7164 not true! the old model has a much better amplifier than in the second version, now they have installed amplifiers from the Eris series, and this is all just because the first series was not profitable in terms of earnings. Therefore, Presonus reduced the price of monitors, and pretended that this was something new, and it was better. In fact, the old model has a very good class D amplifier that outperforms the new model by a lot. I think if you were honest and you were not paid for a review, you would not be silent about it.

@@cryptogames6829 Is it possible that it's his PERSONAL opinion? Just like this is your thoughts on it? Also possible he didn't realize that there was a change from V1 to V2 amplifiers. 🤷🏾♂
are the v2's better than the old monitors ? most listings show that the v2's are twice as expensive than the old ones, does that mean they are twice as better ?
