This version is a upgrade imo .like the 3D Nike swoosh, everything just pops with this shoe. Got a few compliments as well

Totally agree that the vm2 looks worse than the vm1 but I’m a fan of the colourway
I really hope Nike doesn't kill the Vapormax 1 entirely and replace it with this model, I don't know what it is about the Vapormax 2 but I really don't like it. I think there's too much going on at the back of the shoe with the swoosh, heel cup, perforations, and pull tab and it doesn't balance out with the purely knit toe area. I'm in the camp of people who actually like the Vapormax sole, I didn't know until recently that it was so widely hated until the Vapormax 97s released.

How well does your heel sit in the 2s? I overpronate a little too much in the 1s, but that heel counter looks like it would help with that.
So you wear them for a day then you return them.
