Thank you for your videos. I am 60 years old and have learned a lot from you about how to treat older skin. I use Seint makeup. It is one compact and reasonably priced. You might like it.

I agree with you 100%. Love the eye shadows on you. The foundation was the perfect color, but that’s it.

Your under eyes look so good, smooth and creamy, well you know, nourished.. I’m so jealous!

There is a compartment in the bottom for the little brush - when you got the top mirror and the brush there was a bottom attached. Also I highly recommend the concealer, especially as you mentioned you didn’t put on concealer. I found the subtl stacks a few months ago and I love them - love the products, colors, and the portability. You can divide the stacks into more than one - like I keep the powder and lip balm in my purse with the top and bottom. Also they definitely DO have creams - they have cream blush, highlighter, and they recommend using a darker concealer as a cream bronzer. I wrote this before you got to the end but remember you can use the bronzer as an eyeshadow too and that really unifies the look. Anyway, hope you do like it - I love the concept and find myself reaching for these products - esp the eyeshadows - on a regular basis even when I’m home and have access to all the other eyeshadows I own.

Ugh, I actually bought the cream blush but it got lost in the bottom of my drawer. 🤦‍♀️. I can’t wait to try it. I will be trying all the products many times to see how I really feel. The first impression should never be my last impression. I’ll update in a speed review. Thanks!

I love the idea of those stackables. I like the two eyeshadow options for a one and done, almost kinda look. I like a blown out color with shimmer in the middle of my lid. Takes up so little space! I don’t think you need a primer with cover fx. Creams are heavier tho. I like light powder foundations. I use sheglam. I know I know but it’s so good on my mature skin.

RMS is awesome. The powder blushes are ALL warm because the owner wears warm shades only. Even the colors called cool are not and either very peachy or the plum has brown in it. The cream bronzer and Illuminator are fantastic. I want the red blush next.

Less is more with cream. I use cream a lot. I have a shadow on my cheek like yours and nothing ever covers it. I can’t figure it out. I use a lot less on my forehead and it works great. Color match on foundation is spot on.

I'd never heard of either brand. It's disappointing that the higher end foundation didn't work. I hope that the stak products work better w/ another foundation; they are pretty. Thank you for keeping us company !

Cover Fx used to be carried at Sephora. They had a decent range of foundation shades in different depths and tones. Too bad this foundation didn't work.

It was disappointing, but I’m going to keep trying them, like I said. There are so many people who actually love this foundation so maybe I just need to play with it a bit. Thanks Lena!

MandyMUA wears two eyeshadow color looks a transition color and a shimmer which looks so very pretty. I have the same problem with spots on my face that foundation just will not stay? Oh what we go thru to trying to looks pretty~ prettier. Thank you for reviewing these products.

I just saw your channel love all beauty content you did a video 2 years ago on eyes and you recommend a primer and then a concealer for eyelid which concealer for eyelid would you suggest for mature xx

I use bare minerals powder concealer on my dark spots before my foundation. Kinda pricey but a little goes a long way. Covers very well and lasts all day. Those darn dark spots!!

I used my stansout sponge to apply foundation (Revlon Pro-glow) today for the first time and it was amazing!!!

I too have issues getting blush & bronzer on my face without overload or patches, maybe try tapping on back of hand or I use towel on my lap….would rather build than blend out those heavy spots 🤪

Bobbi - I could definitely still see the spot on the right side of your face that you were hoping to cover with the foundation. I agree that this foundation probably doesn’t work well with your skin type. And I sort of feel as though if I have to put on a ton of product prior to foundation to get the foundation to work well, then it’s not the right foundation for me. The problem is, that you never really know until you’ve already bought it and brought it home! So, I find it helpful when folks like you do these trials/reviews. I also have somewhat dry skin, so I would not buy that foundation based on your experience with it. I know you can return products to some retailers - I just find that a hassle. Agreed Diane, I don’t like returning things either. I am going to try everything again and hopefully it will be better with just a primer underneath. I don’t mind putting a primer underneath a foundation. I just don’t want to have to only use one certain product for one thing to work. That’s a hassle!

The eyeshadow does look pretty on you! Did you get the Subtl concealer? It's not bad.

Personally this is not something i would gravitate to, but you however did a fine job with them. 😊

I wonder if you could use some bronzer in your eye crease-? That might give you the depth you want. I think everything looks good, but I'm not wearing it. Thanks for the video!

I do use bronzer sometimes for that but honestly, I was missing a lighter color much more.

You have your dryness and rosacea so well controlled right now (looking fantastic entirely bare actually) and the foundation, bronzer & blush still just did not go well from the start. Try a couple different techniques but maybe just some of those “may be great….. for someone else” items. Shadow was a winner. Your eyes look beautiful even after all day. Thanks for the demo.

Would you review RMS beauty products? I’m seeing it on Instagram all the time and I’m tempted, but would like to see a review by someone my age that I trust to be honest

i love the subtl beauty stack for traveling. people can use it for daily but it was created for people who travel a lot. its a God Send when going through TSA. If you are not a frequent flyer its not really worth it.

I have used cover FX and like it. No primer was needed. I also use their setting powder that makes it waterproof.

One reason I love Seint is that it’s all in 1 pallet. The only things you need other than the pallet are mascara and lipstick.

Honestly, I don’t like it only because it loses its power so fast. I’m constantly charging it. I did just buy a good one from Costco. It keeps its charge for a long time and it’s the same size.

Got mine from Costco as well, wait for the sale which I believe brought it to 29.99, I’ve had it for good 2yrs & works great, one side regular, flips to 10 times mag, it plugs in, I’m personally not a fan of the ones you charge bc not only does the charge not last long, they’re veeery pricey

I agree that the foundation did not cover that pesky white spot on your right side ! That’s very strange ! And the fact that it all just disappeared by the end of the day ??? That isn’t good ! The eyeshadow does look really pretty on you though. It’s a good concept but the products seem inferior, especially if they cost a lot and simply go away into oblivion !! Thanks for doing a great review Bobbie ! I’m definitely saving my money and not buying it !

Thanks Lisa! I am excited to try all the products again but sadly right now my entire upstairs is disheveled because we are painting and carpeting everything. As soon as everything is settled I’ll be definitely trying all of this, so I’m hoping that it will have a better result.

I think that foundation might look better with a cream blush and bronzer.

I'm curious to knowif the blush/bronzer work better on a different foundation.

I agree and will spend money on foundation at the adage of 60 and would buy drugstore but the colors are not great and no way to tell with many of the names. All foundation should be marked warm/neutral/cool and fair/light/medium/tan/dark. Every time someone tells me about a drugstore foundation they love I have no idea what color to buy. I need medium - cool.

For the Cover FX try to apply it in a circular motion, this always works for me. It truly does have a buildable full coverage. The creator had roseacha

Yes, many times and sadly it doesn't work well for me. I can't get it to look smooth and it just looks heavy. Is this one that you like? If yes, any tricks?

The blusher and bronzer have strong colour payoff. You need to pat brush onto tissue before applying

To me the foundation looked like it was clinging to dry patches. The color is perfect. Do you think it would work better in the spring and summer when your skin is normal? I have the same problem. It really bothers me at times. Thank you for trying these products and showing us how they work.

@@ckendall9955 I don’t have dry skin in the area where it was patchy. It’s VERY emollient so it may be too much for summer. 🤷‍♀️ I haven’t been able to play with it since I filmed because my entire upstairs is getting painted and carpeted. I am actually looking forward to trying all these products again.

The patchiness might be due to the horrible foundation you tried before
