Have the same machine and have been pleased so far. It will go 40ish on the speedo but checking with GPS shows the actual speed around 10- 20 mph off so that could be the difference between the machines. Speedometer accuracy is way off. It runs better once it's broken in Check your differential vent lines as mine was pointing straight up which would let water go straight into the diffs

It does 45 mph. I have mine registered as a motor vehicle since I couldn't pass it off as a golf cart and I can keep up with traffic with no issue in 35 and 45 mph speed zones. Now I do have another set of rims and tires for on-road use.

This was a great video. I just got mine as a birthday present from my wife. I am so happy she pulled the trigger I love this machine. I had mine up to 40 but I'm still in the break in period and don't want to goose it too much. You gave a great overview! Just subbed

Thanks so much man! I appreciate the sub! Happy Birthday! Happy Easter! BTW, Ours is only low range (Top speed only 30) I will be modding it to have a high range, but $6300 is great price for something very similar to JD Gators, Polaric Rangers and CanAm Defenders, at like a third or quarter of the friggin price!

I have this exact model and it's not bad. You do need to learn how to work on them because it will require maintenance. I've had mine for about 6 months and I've already fixed the fuel gauge sending unit, adjusted the throttle cable, and adjusted the gear selector. The thing that aggravates me the most about this UTV is trying to find parts and accessories. It's not very powerful, but if you get a running start it can do the job. I'm still trying to figure out how to put a winch on the back of it. I would also suggest putting washers on top of the roof of the bolts as sometimes the rubber garments will pull through the roof while trailing this thing down the road at 75 miles an hour as you will lose the top.

Not attacked mine yet, owned it about 2 months, changed the rear brake pads as they squeaked LOUD, tried everything and just found some cheap ones on ebay, put them in and no squeaky any more ! Not attacked the fuel gage yet but think that is coming soon ! Calling and emailing the company in Arizona is worthless ! I'll get what ever parts I need off ebay ! But it is fun to drive and enjoy it very much ! Perfect to go get ice cream down the road ! I'm not into making dust so slow and steady is the way to go !

@@timw6596 I had no problem talking to them on the phone for warranty parts so far as all the fixes have been simple. They don't have that many service shops around my area so it's just easier to go take it somewhere and get it fixed instead of waiting. If it needs a major warranty repair I just bring it back to the dealer that I bought it from and get a refund if it's under warranty.

I purchased my UT 400 several weeks ago and it now has a little over 100 miles on it. I took it to west Texas for a week of off roading in the Sanderson desert. It performed fair however it is under powered. I like it except for a couple of things. I got it stuck a couple of times in loose gravel and it did not matter if it was in 2 x4 or 4x4 it will not pull itself though gravel. It also will not pull a hill under it own power without a fast head start. The shifting is also a problem not wanting to go into forward or reverse without grinding the gears. I was able to get it to shift better by adding a flat washer to the bell crank on the engine. This took the slack out of the shat at the hiem joint. I was impressed with the fuel consumption, in a week it only used a little over 1 tank full.

To not grind the gears on mine, I hold the gear shift lever all the way up (F) then gently press accelerator until you feel it kick in gear, then let go: no grinding! I don't have to do this for (R).

Mine goes about 28-30 mph. Are you driving it with both seat belts buckled (Even if you are the only one in the vehicle)? Cuz it won't drive at full power without both buckled. I personally rerouted the wires in the belts sensors to make it so we don't need either of them buckled.

@@denisehood631 (This process is easier with the seat and heat shield removed) Go to the passenger side of the vehicle and raise the box. If you look at the side of the engine, you should see the oil filter near the bottom. If you look over the black cover directly forward from that, the dipstick can be found. It is just a black cap with finger tabs angled towards the oil pan. If you do decide to remove the seat to check the dipstick, just lift the seat off and remove the heat shield (1 or 2 bolts). The dipstick can be checked more easily and with less mess this way. If you look straight down into the "Engine Compartment" on the passenger side of the engine, you will see the black dipstick cap I mention before. Hope this was helpful, and reply if you have any other questions! Being a real life mechanic gives me the urge to help others and teach people what I know! Thanks so much! (Great question, btw)

@@TheLoneWolf-wu8lpThank you for the response! Mine was actually a 2011 model hisun hs400 in camo it was identical to yours but it was carbureted instead of fuel injected.with the seat belts in the model would only go like 10 -12 mph stock. There was a wire going to the ignition could under the seat I had to unplug it was grounding out the spark. With the governor removed it hit 47mph down a hill on a gps! I now have a 2022 fuel injection Coleman same as yours. It only hits 38mph top speed. But the fuel Injection is amazing and it now has turn signals and a winch and a windshield/ mirrors. My old one didn’t have any of that.
