Oo so 600T. I think there was a 800T brushed version too. But we didn't have that in the UK.

Ok if you've limited space. Not surprised by the poor spin drying, might be 1,000 rpm but, the drum is a small diameter.

~ with the vintage top-loading spin dryers - those were extremely fast = 2130 rpm for most brands & 3010rpm for hotpoint spinners and twin-tubs; the reason for the high speed is because the drum was small/narrow & tall/deep and there had to be enough g-force’s to pull the water out of the fabric. With a larger drum there are more g-forces at it edge so it can spin at lower speeds

oh shit he got a Aquamatic, and it's NOS too. Of all the machines I want to own one day, this machine is high on my list ever since I was a kid.

Stays at 1000 rpm for less than 20 seconds. Impressive.

@ToomcioZioomcio it takes longer than that to do that 1000rpm spin, not 20 seconds. It was edited for time. And that's the same with other reviews

@@anacondadoh-victoriousii I don't mean the whole spin process and I know there were cuts, but I don't see nor hear any cut on 1000rpm phase (watch 45:30-45:49 carefully). It was definitely less than 20 seconds. So it affects drying process later on as someone already mentioned in the comments.

It was cut down spins at 1000rpm for less than 3 minutes.

@@whichwasher2007 Ok, there is probably a very subtle cut around 45:46 then I didn't notice initially... 2-3 minutes seems OK at first glance, yet still a poor spin result with not even close to a full load. What a shame.

Not the best machine I'll admit, but it'll do a job for a compact machine. I was thinking the same around 36:33 but on the possibility of sudslocking, I think that time pumping out may help with getting suds out which may make rinsing better.

Superb video. Interesting washing machine this is.

Oh yes, again Candy washer! Please cotton 60 with towels in it!

I presume this is from the Nova/Hoover Six era due to its spin sequences? If so it does seem to be OK for the machines of this era, less so when Candy scaled things up big time for the GrandO/Hoover Vision.
