    The reason why the cord is limited to 35' is to maintain voltage. Voltage drops over distance which is why we use 12awg. But even then, I wouldn't go beyond 50' or you will reduce the life of the motor. Just get a longer hose if you need.

    Have now used this to clean house siding and it performed well kzread.infoUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX I also bought some wand extensions which enabled higher washing without needing a ladder. I recommend both. This unit arrived quickly, was easy to assemble (only had to attach the handle), and arrived in perfect condition. The only very slight downgrade from a perfect score is the design has a low handle and requires pulling from the side. My old washer was an upright model, while this one is more horizontal. Other than that, it's perfect for my needs. It has a great deal of pressure and more easily cleaned the house siding, porch rails and concrete than did my older model. The engine is a bit louder, as well, but the total time to clean was reduced by the more powerful spray. Did I mention it starts on the first or second pull every time?!! I am definitely happy with this model.

    I recently bought a Greenworks battery blower and am happy with it, I'm not really *"happy"* with anything so... I was hoping this pressure washer was going to work for me but when I saw that the motor doesn't shut off when the wand handle's released that's a deal breaker. Now I have to decide between the DeWalt and the Ryobi which both have this feature.

    For the soap dispenser if you apply a pressure washer cleaner in it and you don’t use all the cleaner in the tank and want to use Just water will the cleaner still come out after you switch to another type of tip? Or is it recommended to use all the cleaner that is placed in the soap container prior to switching tips? Thanks

    Which big box companies sell it in Texas ? Extension cord ,,, 25 ft hose is short but good quality it seems and 35 ft power cord so 60 ft is short ? Warranty seems great but cannot see details ? Extension cord allowed ? Why ? What spec should we get ? Hose first, fill with water or you get cavitation in the pump, you need to run water through it to purge air . Water pumps pump water or they will try and overspeed. Can it work a driveway 'hood' cleaning attachment ? How many times does the 15 A or 20 A outlet GFCI trigger ? I Bought a Ryobi 3100 gas pressure washer , used 3 summers, spent more hours trying to start it than running time.. Bust the wheel pull staring it, Ryobi electric and this at the same price point..., Imperfect solution but I may buy one ,, thanks !

    Is the water hose flexible or stiff plastic? Do you have to be 6” away for it to clean hood cause that’s a little close. I don’t want to be blasting the surface off I want to let the cleaner do the work then just spray it off.

  • @homemadechow3532

    @homemadechow3532

    The hose is flexible but still fairly stiff. I know what you mean about the plastic hoses. This one lands somewhere in the middle. Also, it will clean from farther away. I was doing that for demo purposes. The tip you choose will make a difference.

    what type and brand of pump does it use? i'm considering getting one because i already have enough small engines to keep up maintenance (log splitter, snow blower, lawn mower, generator.) just wanted to know what the hours are on that pump.

    I wish I could answer that. Not sure of the brand or type of pump. I looked all over the machine and in the manual but I can't seem to see where that info would be. I can say that the pump is great. We have a smaller Greenworks electric pressure washer in the family and it's been running over a year. still good.

    My gas pressure washer is 2400 psi. Using the turbo nozzle, mine seems more powerful and cleans more quickly than yours does. So, either this isn't really the rated 3000 psi, or the Turbo nozzle is weak, or gas is the way to go. I appreciate your demo, but I'm disappointed in what I just saw.

    Like most stuff today, if you have a problem, you send the problem unit back, then send you another one. However, as the 'homeowner' industry continues to pivot from gas (literally no point to gas yard tools anymore), more service shops that specialize in electric/battery maintenance shops will be around to fix these things.
