Good review mate. I have to echo another reviewer's comment thanking you for not screaming, etc. You're mature and calm, which is refreshing. This game looks a bit unsettling honestly, all of the character graphics look kind of disturbing like they're from a weird horror film. I can kinda see why this game was panned. I would probably do so as well, haha.

Ah yes! The mythical Fountain Of Dreams! I heard about this so called Wasteland sequel but have actually never seen the game until this video. Thank you so much for this! Back in the day, I played Wasteland to death and really wanted a sequel. This was supposedly it but I could never find it for my Commodore 64. That was like what....more than 30 years ago? Lol. How times fly!

Right now I'm playing Wasteland Remastered and just rememebred about this game. I've never got to play it. It's a pity no one will ever make a remake of Fountain of Dreams. Damn, I'd even settle for one made in the RPG Maker xd

Sweet. It's not often you get to watch reviews that don't involve screaming at the top of ones lungs. This was very mellow, and informative. Is it bad to get mutations? Because if it is, then the creators of the game missed out on making a unique type of RPG. Wasteland is about exploring the wastes with your ragtag band of rangers, while Fountain of Dreams could be like an RPG version of Toxic Crusaders, or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Yes, in fact, mutations have a lot more minuses than pluses. First, mutation skills don't work, or don't always work. Secondly, mutations lower attributes. Thirdly, mutations interfere with the character's natural healing.

I can't believe I have beaten this crazy game years ago!

Played that pretty far once, but then after returning to it had forgotten what I was supposed to do next and had to start over again. But then it's not a very long game and the over world is criminally small. The weapon breakage is kinda annoying, too.

So much time has passed since I sat down before my old 386 with a 25Mhz CPU playing this game time and again...;_; Good ol' times! My father found it by pure chance here in Italy and bought it. One of the best presents I ever received!

Thanks for this review! Brings me back to my childhood. I remember this game being super, super hard, but still really fun. All of the characters are great - that's probably the best part, the animated pictures of each character. Thanks for all the work you put into these!

7:21 B.M Pun...B.M.Pu...B.M. PUNK?! Am I the only wrestling fan watching this? A 1990 game has a character named B.M. Punk and (much) later that decade by sheer coincidence former WWE Champion C.M. Punk would adopt his famous moniker? Man, that's odd. It's not like Punk took the name from this game, he was in a tag team called the Chick Magnets where each member had CM before their name. What a cool little coincidence.
