I have one of these lunch boxes and I love it! As a suggestion, rather than removing the ventilation cap, press it down in the center and the dome will be inverted. The steam will come out the steam holes around the circle in the lid, and the food should be kept warmer.

You plugged it on the wrong port. 110 is your house plug. Car plug is your 12-24v
