Hello dear readers, today is a post of nostalgia, we will talk about the ELC AMX bis tank or in the language of tankers “Yolka”.
And it all started back in 2012, when on July 26, in update 0.7.5, the developers gave us the ELC AMX as a replacement for the AMX 12t. A week after the update, while riding the T 50 (aka fifty dollars) in a battle on the Murovanka, I saw this miracle that rushed after me like crazy and painfully damaged 230 times. I decided that I definitely needed to find and pump out this miracle.
I was lucky because I tortured the AMX 40 while it was still in SD and in the game itself there was no such dominance of technology that it would break through in any projections =)
After several battles in the top configuration, I finally realized how chic this car is, both as a firefly and as a damage dealer =) Despite its 5th level, Yolka felt chic at both levels 7 and 8.
What can I say, even at 9 levels I did not experience any particular discomfort; in a team with good allies, I was also able to achieve good results.
Time passed, the game changed, and on June 10, 2014, in update 0.9.1, the developers took away our opportunity to get to the nines, from now on the level of battles was 6-8. I remember many LT officers were very happy about this event since the performance characteristics of the tank were not touched.
Literally a year later, in April 2015, in update 0.9.7, Yolka was transferred to HD. In addition to changing the name to ELC AMX bis, we were given a good armor upgrade.
With the new indicators, miracles in the form of non-penetrations and ricochets became noticeably greater, which, coupled with frequent exposure to low levels of battles, led to very excellent results.
And if you came across a platoon of two, or better yet three, competent Yoloks, then the outcome of the battle in 90% of cases was predicted before it even began.
A year later, on May 24, 2016, update 0.9.15 was released and brought new physics to the game, while the dynamic performance of Yolka increased significantly. A specific power of almost 34 horses per ton, as well as a weight of only 7.5 tons, made it possible to reach maximum speed in a couple of seconds and maintain it on any climb. My joy knew no bounds then, as this allowed me to quickly reach hard-to-reach positions.
But nothing lasts forever, April 27, 2018 became a dark day for all fans of ELC AMX, update 0.9.18 was released which brought light tanks of levels 9-10 to the game, which contributed to a decrease in the level of battles for the tree by standard plus or minus 2 levels as a result which led to the decision to deteriorate a number of characteristics. They came under the knife: Dynamics were reduced to 26 horsepower per ton,
armor penetration with basic and premium shells of the top gun, 120mm basic (was 170) and 150mm premium (was 240),

In general, they have worsened everything that made this tank so loved, but not everything is as bad as it seems and there is life after the nerf. I realized this when I started pumping out the wheeler. However, the style of combat and the build of the vehicle have undergone significant changes.
Firstly, we change the top weapon to a pre-top weapon; the CD of 4.31 sec will allow you to deal damage more often. The developers also added the ability to rotate the turret full 360 degrees with stock and pre-top guns.
