    A thorough review. You've reviewed several electronic leads over last few years. I think you should revisit the electronic load experiments you did many years ago. Perhaps you have a few ideas on how to update, though these days that means adding more programmed controller issues. Anyway, I enjoyed that series as you added, changed and improved your designs.

    is negative input connected to usb-c negative / shield? that was a big issue with their psu's potentially short out something when needing a negative supply

    Just tested, looks like the usb shield is connected to the negative input terminal.

    That's very good to know. But you can find many USB power adapters that are floating supplies, which don't ground the usb power negative wire or the usb connector shield, so you can still end up with a completely floating electronic load (or power supply), and not necessarily have a real problem. But again, very good to know. (Also, I hear the P906 fixes this? I have the P905 ...)

    Good device, but absolutely overpriced. For around 250 USD for that device you could purchase multiple Atorch DL24P or DL24M electronic loads instead. Which offer a combined power over 2000 watts and a higher voltage range of up to 200V.
