World of Ukes and Southern Ukulele Store have been championing Millar ukuleles for a few years with many KZread videos. I have two that I purchased from Matt at WoU, this model and a beautiful mango concert. International shipping was very reasonable and they each arrived in 3 days. I own two Millars - an acacia and spruce longneck concert which is beautifully loud and clear, and I use when I go out to play in public, and an all Bolivian Rosewood tenor, which has a lovely rich tone. I tune down to Bb for added richness, and use it for jazz. Great instruments. The Phil Doleman soprano has been a temptation for over a year now.

I have been eyeing this brand for awhile. You are tempting me, Vic:)

I figured that as a fellow reviewer, you would be similar to me and watch all the ukulele reviews…Millar has been on the Got A Ukulele page several times over the last years (including this model, I think), but there really hasn’t been an easy way to buy them in the USA (just as I am sure that there are models in the USA that are not readily available elsewhere). I usually see these from World of Ukes…not sure if there are other vendors, though it is good to learn that the Ukulele Site is carrying them.

I'm a serious fan of Phil Dolman, and I've enjoyed the look and tone his uke for several years now. I recommend his KZread channel and website(s). The Uke looks like an amazing value proposition, and It sounds great to me. Great review.

Very nice uke, but I like a wider nut width on a soprano! This one has a 35mm according to Baz at Got A Ukulele.
