Install the ChargeMaster software onto a laptop. Then use the PC connection port to communicate between your laptop and the charger. Makes it easier to choose settings and also gives information while charging or discharging.

Even though they are both a B6 V2, the Strictly DC-jack powered model seems better. It has a graphical fuel gauge (bars) along with the percent, and a few other features that the AC model doesn't seem to have. You'd think it would be the opposite. Only downside is that you have to buy a separate laptop style power brick for it.

Does anyone know if any suitable adapters you can power this from a car cigarette lighter socket? (UK). It seems it can take a DC input between 11-18v.

I could use a little advice on choosing a charger. I have narrowed it down to this charger and a Turnigy Charger. However I just started reading about the B6 V2 Mini charger but I don't understand the differences in features between this one and the one in the video. Any help would be appreciated.

Ken I think either will do just fine. Both are well known and reputable brands that perform well. I've had no troubles with the imax. Just make sure you get the real one and not the fake one if you decide to get the imax charger.

The mini doesn't come with a ac adapter (plug to plug into wall outlet) so you would need to buy a DC to ac plug separate I believe.

I don't know what he meant by that but you just wanna make sure you charge at the right amps. If you have a 3000mah battery you charge at 3a. If you have a 5000mah lipo you charge at 5amp. If that makes sense to you.

Well it says it can output 6 amps So, 1 hour, heres why 5000mah at 1c for charging is equal to 5 amps, you usualy never what to charge more then 1c of your pack for longevity. So lets say we have a 2200mah battery. Youd charge it at 1c which is 2.2 amps.
