I like that the front can be taken off to be clean. Hair use to always get caught in that section in my old carpet cleaner. Thank you! I love your channel!

Hoover carpet cleaners and detergents are approved by the Carpet and Rug Institute for deep carpet cleaning just like the Rug Doctor Cleaning solutions.

You can still buy these types of Hoovers at Home Depot. I think Hoover makes them for Home Depot and maybe other places though they are no longer on their website... I think these are the BEST at extracting water and they are so well designed...BUT, they are cheap so u have to baby it. You see that screen when you take the front nozzle off? When you're done using the machine, take the brushes from the bottom, clean them, leave them off, let a fan blow into that screen.. I just put my entire unit in front of a fan after using it and cleaning the parts and just let everything blow dry...You want the turbine inside the machine to be dry or it will rust and the brushes will stop spinning...Also, I know it's hard but try not to lift it by the handle.

Thanks for the review! I was looking at this model and the Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution. This one is half the price of the bissell! This video was so helpful. I do like how the cleaning solution is separated from the water, I also liked how the dirty water tank the lid comes off to clean inside. I don't think the Bissell offers those two things. After testing this one out does it clean furniture/stairs well with the attachments? Or you recommend getting the Bissell Pro spot cleaner as well?

I have owned this machine for 25 years . I use it for my carpets as well as my gorgeous very expensive white sofa's! I clean them twice a year and they still look brand new! This machine can also be used as a dry vac with the hose attachments. I use this feature for tight nooks and crannies like under the cushions where dirt collects and in my car. I couldn't live without this machine!

what if no water comes out of the hose but the soap does?

I just got this from Amazon. I am an elderly widow. The screws on handle were not tight enough & machine fell over down into another room & a spring fell out which I do not know where it goes? Any help is appreciated. Jeanne (retired RN)
