You write out each letter, your speech is paced, and your voice is extremely calm - love it! oh, and thank you for saying "it's super easy!" When you say that it really does condition my mind that there is nothing difficult in learning hebrew. God bless! Keep doing what you are doing. You are a wonderful teacher!

Thank you. Being 78 years old....having a hard time keeping up with you.....and will probably have to watch this slowly.... stopping it here and there to learn anything...., But you are very clear and I loved learning to read a especially write, .... should be print and write in elementary school so many years ago....so maybe I'll learn to say it better by printing and writing the letters first and then look that one letter over again as you say it... maybe for a week per letter. I'm serious! Ha Ha.....Have always been a slow learner except in art doing, and doing....only until Jesus 45 years ago would I ever pick up a book. The Bible is the game changer for me.

WOW! To me the Hebrew language is a little challenging. It's challenging to me, because I'm 52, but I am willing to learn the hebrew language at my pace. Thank you for teaching us how to write the hebrew alphabet in text, cursive and print. I will begin by writing them down and repeating until I learn. Then I will purchase a textbook to learn the meaning of the words. I write and speak the Spanish language as well, so this will be my third language to learn, and that will be the last language for me to learn.

Never stop learning, they say you die when you stop learning. Also make sure to rehearse the sounds properly, and understand the logic in word building. The best is having a community of learners or someone to talk to that speak fluent hebrew, its just pointless to learn a language from a book or by writing a word for the hundredth time.

Little bit confused with the niqqud. Why is there aleph as an “ah” sound if I also need to use niqqud to get that same sound. And how do I know when to use which?

aleph and ayin don't actually have sounds. they're just placeholders. so, אַ/אָ/עָetc. is "a", אֶ/אֵetc. is "e" and so on. the niquds indicate which vowels they are

Shalom from someone who loves Lebanon! Since you know English, I highly recommend a free app called Duolingo. I have been using it for 40 days, and I have already learned so much. The interactive exercises are fun and perfectly paced. (I do about 30 to 40 minutes a day.) Hope it helps!
