I am new to Gravitrax. I want to get the Gravitrax Starter Set (Core) and all of the Gravitrax Games, Splitter, Flow, Impact, and Course. My goal is to do some Gravitrax Logic Gates and Gravitrax Puzzly Activities. I am not really into huge setups, like Jelle or competition. I am more into the Gravitrax theory on how things work. I kind of know what I want out of Gravitrax. I have a small apartment, so huge setups aren't going to work out like Jelle setups or huge contraptions, but at the same time, I can still get Gravitrax Experience, but on a much smaller scale. I have noticed that Gravitrax is a scalable modular system. Is Gravitrax good for learning physics? I was thinking of simulating how light can be a wave and a particle at the same time using marbles and the curved rails. I was thinking that the Splitter can be a rudimentary intro to some Quantum Mechanics of demonstrating how particles (marbles) move in space.

GraviTrax is a bit difficult to build with, as the pieces fit together loosely and can easily come apart if jostled. You can still build some cool things. It helps kids learn the physics of mechanics intuitively. As far as modeling the light spectrum, that would be interesting to try, as GraviTrax is not inherently geared for that.

@@MaskedMarble Perfect. I can give it a try. I was inspired by your videos on logic gates using Gravitrax.
cool
You can just put the remaining peices in random spots which still makes them included in the marble run! 🤨

Cool🎉🎉🎉
Personally, I only buy the sets for the hexagonal base plates

They are handy. In that case, the Course set has the most with 4 mini baseplates, although the Lite Starter Set released in Europe has 6 mini baseplates as well as 4 half-circle mini baseplates. It can be ordered from Amazon (.de) and they will ship to the US.

I buy the course set for the special tiles
Are the Gravitrax game pieces compatible with the original pieces?
@MaskedMarble

Yes. All GraviTrax pieces are compatible with each other except the GraviTrax Junior sets which are a separate building system.

Well there were videos were Gravitrax and Gravitrax junior being able to connect a bit
I mean you can still build marble runs for fun using it
@MaskedMarble
3 күн бұрын
Yes, small runs can be built. Combining a few of these games is also fun. 😁
