What you mean to say is that, if and only if you are sensitive to dermal contact effects, that might occur. It will either occur or not. As far as dying from brass, your comment should be a little more fine-tuned with regard to effects short of death. By that there can be many things. The bottom line is a metal assay, that rules out toxic metals such as you mentioned including Mercury and lead is needed, and documented. A finer point should be made, is my point.
