Great tools! Home Depot has good quality stuff. I like those ratcheting wrench set. I may not use it now, but it's always nice to have. I might check them out. Great vlog! It's about to rain here, big time!

Thanks AR thanks to viewers like you I'm finally getting sent promotional products for review I was so excited when they said they would send me this wrench set I really needed it but it it's pretty expensive but worth it. By the way I decide to stop the high pitch voice I got some feedback from another viewer and I realized it's not worth it it was worth a try though stay dry and away from the flash floods

Definitely some good buys, Gearwrench has great stuff

The flex head wrenches with the fixed 0 degree offset head are a great idea. You can break a stubborn bolt loose with the fixed box end and then ratchet it out, saving the ratcheting end from breakage. My only gripe is that they are spline. I wish they were 12 point with corner off loading. Less chance of rounding a bolt head.

That is absolutely false. Spline is much much better than 12pt. +20% better exactly. If 6pt was 100% , 12pt would be 50%, and that's backed up by testing, plus Spline can take off almost any faster like square, torx plus, Triangle, whatever... but the real issue with these wrenches is the 120xp with a dual paw are very problematic, I wish they would just make a simple 90T single, so they don't get all off track

Nice wrench but at that price point I think you better off with the icon double box end wrenches and they are life time warranty as well

hey claudio I looked up the icon set online they do have a double end but I like having one end not racheting for tightening bolts. these are also extra long. thanks for watching! please subscribe!!

yes so great f horrd to reach bolts on cars. I used mine on the electric cooling fan bolts from under the car

You should do some research on the way Apex tool and Bain Capital treat American manufacturing and companies i.e. Armstrong and Allen tool and a long list of other companies

If it's the latter then you should do just a little research into how we won ww2 then you may gain an appreciation for why having a manufacturing base in your country is important. Just because we've had a relatively peaceful 80 or so years doesn't mean war is to never be again in the future, the near future if we continue in this current path

Those gear wrench ones have rounded every single fastener I have used them on over the last 3 months. I bought them to replace my Icon ones to free up space in my tool box as I had both icon sets and this gear wrench set appeared to do both in one set of wrenches. I am taking them out of my toolbox and putting the Icons back in. You cannot trust a wrench that rounds fasteners off. They have to be dependable.

Well your not supposed to use any gear style wrench for loosening tight bolts. You use a socket for that or an impact wrench. I guess everyone has a different experience with different brands. Most of them are made in the same factories some off brands use cheaper metals. I have found gear wrench to be high quality. My only question is do you work or icon or are u an influencer for their brand???

@@kurtiscal3msetccdwell618 I'm pretty loyal to gear wrench. The marketing rep was really nice and they seem to work for me. Almost any wren that has. Moving parks can break. Gear wrench has a lifetime warranty. I dunno about icon???

Yes I have used them for general use but not anything that requires a long reach yet. A while back I replaced the cooling fan on my pt cruiser and this was the wrench set o needed for long flexible reach. I may have another cooking fan to replace soon I'll be sure to make a video on it. Please subscribe of you haven't already! -cheers

Just a quick suggestion. If you’re going to be supplied with a tool for a review you should at least put in a link with the part number and/or a link to a supplier.

Man I just got a set of the 72 tooth stuff a 20 piece set metric and standard but then I saw the 90t stuff and now the 120xp! I got two 120xp ratchets on the way but I need some of those wrenches lol I found a 8 piece set for 55 on Amazon ill grab to try them out

beware of the cheap generic china brands, the 8 piece set for $50 is probably the cheap ones . they say lifetime warranty but the sellers disappear and change the names. thanks for watching -cheers!

@drewsquickfix wait is it labeled as gearwrench and fake or is it listed as something completely different? Cause this is a gear wrench box and it's 58 for a 8 piece 120xp metric set but they aren't the extra long ones which is a problem that's what I wanted

Been experimenting with gearwrench and have found the 90t wrenches are a bit better than the 120xp even tho I believe that's supposed to be their top end line but the spline drive kinda sucks. And they now make some 90t double box flex head wrenches they compete with those mountain wrenches but they are actually 12 point! And I've found that all the gearwrench 90t ratchet wrenches you can find at home depot and similar stores are the lower end wrenches that are short and don't have the anti slip feature on the open end which is kinda disappointing since that's the first set I got when I didn't know any better but oh well now I know.

i am soon to make a video and show how terrible those spline flex wrenches are, first of all it is Not surface drive, meaning the teeh on the wrench ar about 3/16 of an inch before catching the bolt, the 14 mm ,, 17 mm and most of them fit loosely damaging the nut or bolt being removed

Your china wrench’s are not gearwrench copies they are mountain copies.

@@drewsquickfix they are almost a direct copy of mountain brand wrenches so is a lot of other Amazon and eBay products but big manufacturers have copied them also like Carlyle, ADT, klutch and ICON ect, you should contact the seller to have the set replaced.

@@stephan4490 yes I did notice the China wrenches had several different names it was just a hassle dealing with the eBay seller I had to open a case with eBay because the seller would not send me a return shipping label and package. My wrenches showed up in heat wrap Saran Wrap with no protection I believe that's why they were broken. thank you for clarifying the auto spell correct I was like what are u saying. I still think going to brand names like gearwrench it's worthwhile they've been very kind to me at the KZread channel owner thanks for watching

A year later I am sorry to tell you that gear wrench like the other brands is made in the same country CHINA that manufactures all that garbage that they sell here in our beloved Yankee empire.

Well I know this but the generic china wrenches with no real name seem to break pretty easy and even arrived defective I had to open an eBay case against manufacturer. At least gear wrench stands behind their wrenches
