5:32 That sounds like a cute little tune! You'll never believe it, but when that music came on, I actually started dancing! That's better than the version I have. I have the one with the loud buzzer, which I purchased in 2015. Since I live in a downstairs studio apartment, that buzzer seems to scare my neighbors, as they fear my smoke alarm's going off! However, I may have to purchase this one, as the one I have has recently started to make my scrambled eggs taste like metal! I haven't used it since the day that started happening, as I worry I might get some kind of metal poisoning! To avoid those mineral deposits on the machine, I use filtered water from a Britta filter. Also,I do put the steam hole in the back, as I've learned that steam can burn you! Especially if you're like me and you're sight challenged! And yes, I lock the lid on to avoid steam and water flowing onto the counter.

I have had the previous version of this egg cooker for many years and absolutely love it!❤

Hmmm I think this is required in my kitchen. Thanks for showing us how nicely they have come along and easy to use.

I didn’t think you were suppose to lock the lid when you cook the eggs. ?

I haven't received a response from Dash. Anyone know how I can get a replacement handle for the egg boiling tray? ....it's just a couple of inch straight piece of plastic the fits into the center of the boiling tray.

Always a great, comprehensive review but the music has to go...lol! What made them think we would want to hear continuous music?

I tried not poking a hole in mine and they cracked. I'm also at a high altitude so I don't know if that's a factor
