I love Amber Grand so much! I’m halfway through my bottle and ordering backups. It’s so warm and sensual to me. I love layering it with a darker rose oud during the day and then wearing it alone going to bed! I love your videos so much! I definitely share your same taste in fragrances. ❤

They are both beast on my skin, the projection is crazy!! which I love. Amber grand last 12+ hrs on my skin, which is the first perfume to last so long. It’s absolutely more feminine than lattafa in my opinion. My husband wore amber grand & said the same they’re both beautiful but lattafa leans more masculine. I will definitely stock up.

Do you know Wafa by Ard al Zafaraan? Tried it today, lovely dark smooth scent.Quite dense amd it feels a bit ghotic. It is said to be a dupe of Black Phantom By Kilian. I think you might enjoy it!

I just blind bought Nasheet! I hope I love it. I have a decant of Ani and love it! And still will probably pick that one up because it is one of the only Niche fragrances I've tested that's Full Bottle Worthy imo.

@m.m.7328 I'm so sorry as I haven't tried Ani so I can't compare them. I just read the notes and thought it might be something I'd like. I've heard they're quite similar though. I can tell you Nasheet opens with a lovely ginger top, and ends with a beautiful vanilla. I wish the ginger stayed more present through the drydown because it was unexpectedly delightful!

Welcome, I'm happy to have you here 🌹❤ Are you looking for more feminine leaning pineapple fragrances or more masculine leaning? 3 come to my mind when I think of pineapple - Amber Oud Gold Edition by Al Haramain (a beautiful inspiration of Erba Pura, smells like a sweet tropical bowl of fruits with musk), Qaed al Fursan by Lattafa (this one is a beautiful masculine leaning pineapple - pineapple and a deep fresh icy woody undertone). Recently I've also tried Shaheen Gold by Lattafa, this could pass as a unisex fragrance, it's all about pineapple, mint vanilla and a shower gel freshness.

@AFragrantGlance So happy you did this review/comparison. I'm really curious now how it'll hold up against Fragrance World Barrakat Ambre Eve - which is also a dupe for Grand Soir and in my own collection. It's much smoother, more vannilic and less aromatic than Eternal Oud. Ambre Eve is pretty strong and I prefer not to wear it in hot weather. I could get away with it in early spring, but we're having a hot Spring, going into Summer atm. And while I rarely adhere to typical summer fragrances and all that, I sadly can't wear such strong stuff when I'm sweating my eyeballs out 😂. I'm nowhere close to finishing it, having bought it last winter, but I might search for a sample from your Paris Corner to see which one to buy when it ís done (my sample of Eternal Oud convinced me it is super longlasting, but not smooth and yummy enough alas). I combine my Ambre Eve with a honey forward fragrance to enrich the vanilla & sweetness, but have matched Ambre Eve with heavier florals or fruity fragrances as well to enhance the other perfume's amber base. CK Euphoria with Ambre Eve (or in this case Amber Grand) is great, finally giving me the Euphoria I had hoped for. Together with Pendora Boozy Cherry (TF Lost Cherry) it is very sexy too. The vanilla in the faux Grand Soir matches the sweeter cherry liqueur in Boozy Cherry and the "grunginess" of the booze aspect deepens because of the aromatic amber. Paris Corner Frenetic Delicieuze and Ambre Eve (or Amber Grand) is extremely heavy and only to be worn mid winter! But wow... As you said: you need to love amber and labdanum (which I do), as well as have a skintype and personality that can get away with it. Now it sounds as if I'm pounding myself on the back, but what I meant is: I'm older, I like heavier fragrances and most importantly: I don't give a flying F about what anyone thinks about my wardrobe - clothing or scent. Compliments are always nice, but I'm wearing perfume first and foremost for myself. To compliment my outfit and to better my moods. That's why I can play mixologist too and make it even stronger. (But I love layering; it's like doubling your collection and wearing sth no-one else has, on top of being creative). I think a lot of people will consider this masculine leaning, but to me it is absolutely unisex - it just depends on taste. PS. There's also Paris Corner Northstag Neuf IX...supposedly pretty much identical to MFK's Grand Soir perfume in quality and scent, and better than Eternal Oud, Ambre Eve and the other Paris Corner combined. However: 💰 💰 💰 💰 😢. Northstag is PC's luxury line.

Thank you for watching my dear, I enjoyed a lot reading your thoughts on these fragrances. 🌹❤️ I haven't tried yet the any fragrances from the Barakkat line from Fragrance World but I heard great things about them. I can see why Amber Eve could be a lot for warm weather, especially on a hot summer day, because of its warmth and density it could come off slightly suffocating. What is a honey forward scent you enjoy to use in your layering combos? I've used lately a lot Boozy Cherry by Paris Corner and I've noticed that it develops so beautifully in hot weather, it smells delicious and that cherry hits different in warm weather. It's an amazing fragrance to use especially for layering. I will look into North Stag line from Paris Corner, thank you for the recommendations. 💫

Two honey forward fragrances I love to layer with are Police Shock-in-Scent and Kim Kardashian Pure Honey. The latter is (on me) a lovely beeswax- raw thick honey with a tiny tiny whiff of rose and the first one is a dupe for Gaultier's Scandal, but better 😇😊. I smell and get mostly a fresh-sugary honey. A soft orange blossom- jasmine in the back. Sometimes I smell a hint of beeswax in this one too, but then more what you'd smell in a candle. Not a fresh one as in the Kim K. Pure Honey is quite deep, sultry, sensual. Shock-in-Scent is lighter, feminine, sweeter. I use Pure Honey more often with florals to deepen them and the Shock-in-Scent with spicy-woody or ambery fragrances to sweeten them without creating even more heaviness. Think Angel by Mugler or Raghba or this Ambre Eve (it strengthens the vanilla in the last two and the honey in the 1st). There's also Hamsah by Swiss Arabian, but that one is a citrus- honey mix. 50-50%, on some days the citrus even overpowers. It does work for layering, especially when you want to add freshness, tartness to a gourmand that matches. But wouldn't use it with Grand Amber, Amber Eve or Eternal Oud. I've just ordered Mazaaij by Lattafa which is supposed to be a honey- ish floral (didn't see it as a note though), so I'm very curious to see if it'll be a fragrance that needs one of the honey ones, or if it can be used as a topper with the Ambre Eve et al perfumes. Anyway, hope this helps! Oh, last but not least... Both honey fragrances are cheapies. But if you need even cheaper: Eternal Kiss by La Rive is also a Scandal dupe. Just not as elegant and perfectly blended. And it needs to sit for quite a while before you get a good scent (alcohol blast-syndrom). But, I finished my 90ml within the year because as a layering scent it is ideal.

I'd love to see a review on "when souls get high" , " wayward Charlie" , " Rifaaqat" and " Lueur D Espoir Noche" . They seem to be the most intriguing and challenging from paris corner and there's no one that can describe a fragrance better than you 💗 keep up the amazing work ❤

Do they layer well together? I have eternal oud and I really want it to be a little more rounded and vanillic on me, but I can’t seem to layer it with anything else successfully. Just wondering if the Paris Corner one would work? Xx

I often use a honey rich fragrance when I need to UP the sweetness or enrich the vanilla note. I recommend Pure Honey by Kim Kardashian (unless your skin doesn't give you strong beeswax/thick dark honey - which it does on me but not on anyone), and especially Police - Shock-in-Scent. The latter is inspired by Scandal by JPG, but better imho. Both are very affordable too. Honestly, it is so hard to get a good, clean, pure vanilla perfume to layer with. Other notes often ruin it for me. I'm still looking... I'm close to buying a few vanilla beans and a good non comedogenic oil to create my own vanilla Attar.

Thank you for watching dear 🌹❤️ Yes, they layer very well together but I don't think Amber Grand will give you the effect you want for Eternal Oud, it adds a resinous like sweetness. Whenever I want to add a beautiful vanillic sweetness to any fragrances I reach for Moattar Dhahab for Women by Junaid Perfumes, it works amazing. It's a sweet rich warm vanilla scent, it's full dense and round and it layers very well with any other fragrances. I would highly recommend you to look for a sample of it and test it, it's a very versatile fragrance to have in your collection and because of its simplicity it works amazing in many layering combos. Another one that I use sometimes is Golden Sand by Al Rehab (the oil) this one is again a sweet dense vanilla and it works great for layering but doesn't smell as smooth and luxurious. Or if you have any strong sweet vanilla body lotions - that would mix very well with Eternal Oud is you want to amplify the sweetness.

If you have warm vanilla or wrapped in vanilla by bath and body’s should be a good combination too.
