This is actually the continuation of my message preceding. . . . OK, I made a small mistake with that last message and accidentally sent it before I'd even finished it! It was supposed to have ended with the following creepy question. . . . "In your video you said something about some STICKERS, well, seeing the number of people who have already asked about that, I thought it best to ask you about it now? After all, I am one of your top (non-Patrion, yet!) followers/fans!?! And haven't missed ANY of your videos. Anyway mate, I hope you're alright and that you are as happy as lif,e allows? And with my very best and fondest wishes, Tim Edmunds. 🤗👍😎🥺

I don't think as a passenger you would understand the scam of the higher level authorities. If you are not a mechanic, you cannot identify the problems of an engine. He was a pilot and a successful one having 10 years of experience in Indigo. If he has pointed out something then it got to be a concern. He is an IIT graduate, now practicing law

Self interest should force the airlines to put safety first because if they don't care about us, the lawsuits when they create an accident should be enough to make them put safety first always! In 2019 we caught a number of AA flights within Malaysia. I think pretty much all of the landings were without reverse thrust and it startled me a lot because it felt like the plane wasn't slowing down fast enough. On one of the runways we turned hard left while still carrying a lot of speed and I really thought we were going to crash. I've never felt a plane turn that hard on the ground, at that speed. The only thing I could think of that explained this change in landing behaviour was for the airline to save fuel. I don't recall AA doing this in 2017 and 2018.

Coming back to klia 2 with 4000 metres of runway and the runway high speed exit is at the end. We will put it on reverse idle which is why you won’t feel much of it. It is in our policy to engage reverse idle every single landing. However depends on which runway we may opt to switch off the auto brakes. Since the runway is long and we are gonna vacate at the end to comply with the minimum runway occupancy time which the airport implements. I hope this clarifies. High speed exits are designed for us to turn the plane at 45 knots or 80 plus kmh.

@@lioneltan430 It wasn't KLIA as I have avoided that airport if possible (although our visit there in July 2023 I was very impressed - MA business class FTW!). My memory is foggy but I think it was Penang airport where the hard left happened. Seriously, it scared me pretty good and I wasn't the only one in that flight that gasped and grabbed hold of the seat armrests.

I flew AirAsia India in 2019 they offer cheap flights and their service is good compared to what a low cost airlines offer.

Glad someone pointed the situation at the lounges.. They need more lounges or restrict access since right now you need atleast half an hour to 45 mins to just be in que

I’ve traveled by Air Asia in 2018 from Del-Kualalumpur in A-330-300 and A-320 Neo, KuaLumpur -Lankawi.The crew on first leg was a bit rude and very loud makeup! The food wasn’t either that good. The later part was good travelling within Malaysia 🇲🇾 not quite a good airline for me though!!

The A320 is certified to do flaps 3 landing. Many airline pilot use this setting during landing

That is true, but only on aiports with long runway. Air Asia do it even in short runways

@@leadbodo153 yeah i do agree, i have ever seen an airasia landing on a short & wet runway with only flaps 3 and idle reverse. Normally you must land with flaps full and max reverse.

A higher flap setting means a bigger wing for the aircraft. Higher the flap is, more the lift the wings will generate in low speed, which is very crucial during landing. But higher the flap is, more the engines consume fuel. Landing with flap level 3 could be very risky in many scenarios, especially while landing on shorter runways.

I had a horrific experience with them last year. I was delayed a total of nearly 18+ hours (I had a connecting flight and consecutive delay was 18+ hrs) - No refund/stays were given, only extra weight charges waived off. I recently flew with them (due to no other option) and had a good experience actually, the attendant gave me a free upgrade to an emergency seat with all 3 seats vacant for me.
