How has it been as your first bike? I am looking at one after someone snagged the 600f4i I wanted initially.

@@R1Looter it’s the best bike to start on, I believe! Yes, it was a LOT of power, especially after 10.000rpm! But that is also what makes you think about your driving! Also, it’s a huge luxury to be able to hit 180km/h+ in second gear! And for me, the reparation is also important since I drive track days a lot, and it has resulted in a few crashes, HOWEVER, the biker has ALWAYS turned on after a crash. It’s stupidly reliable! As the first bike, it can be much for a person who isn’t naturally good with machines, tyres, balance etc, but most importantly FEAR! You must fear your bike, just a little, which you will. But it’s not unpredictable in any way! As a first bike I’d give it a 9/10. The last point is off because it’s impossible to install autoblib😅

Oh awesome, so you think it's the best bike to start on ,I was looking at a z650 but after reading this I think I'll get a cbr600rr, I can get a 2 year old one for only 9000 euro, I just turned 17 ,we have very windy roads here so again thanks for the advice ,I will leave another comment in a few weeks.😁😁👍👍

@@mathias20004 I've had the opportunity to buy a family member's yamaha fz6n, not a sport bike but with 98hp it should be enough lol

I went from 125 to 250 to 450 dirt bikes. 30 years now old, buying one of these Wednesday. First street bike, thought I was mature enough now to not ride like a goon

The pc37 was my first bike. She was patient with me, the whole learning process was a blast. Best bike ever. At least for me. :)

I have a 04 600RR and it's the best 600 I've ever ridden. Easily the most beautiful bike I've ever owned, and she loves the track as well 😍

Awesome video very informative! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and prospective. The 03 CBR looks like a really fun bike especially if you enjoy racing around and doing track days.... I'm definitely interested in getting one to ride around in the canyons here in southern California.

I bought an 05 600rr two yrs ago then took the MSF class. I have about 600mi in the saddle then picked up a virtually unused 06 600rr a few weeks ago! I've taken it very careful and am now beginning to read books and watch yt vids on SS riding on the street. I love Honda so there was no other choice

I agree with most of your comments. I have a '07 and it is my first bike since I gave up bikes in 83 and have found it pretty much everything I want from a casual / weekend machine. Yes it is capable of killing you, but this is purely down to how you ride it. It can be a missile, but the rider is in control of the throttle! Yes I open it up from time to time, and your comment on the power that comes in from 10k is insane. I have taken mine on a track and it is more than capable of staying with bigger bikes, due to its lightness and agility. I can ride mine for 2 hours easily, mainly due to the fact that using your core and knees to grip help reduce wrist and backache. I had the valve clearances checked and it only cost me 150 + vat as long as the shims do not replacing. I did remove the farings prior to taking it in which would have saved the garage about 45 mins work. Agree it is not much fun around town, but I try not to use it for that and it can become quite unbearable with the heat produced under the seat while waiting in traffic! Although the rear looks fantastic with the single under seat exhaust! The open road or track is where it shines. In my view pretty much a perfect bike. Loving your videos, keep them coming.

Its insane how prices changed in just a year or two here in the US. I picked up an 04 with 40k, looks beat to shit, and missing stuff like undertail kit, and muffler, but runs and shifts perfectly, It was $2500 USD. Running, and decent plastics, it would be listed for almost 5k.... Guy I bought it from had over 30 msg's from FB marketplace, and 3 more while I was there talking to him. Nothing is decently priced anymore..

I'm also what I consider a fairly safe rider, I dont really speed much, and I am really defensive, I domt ever try to pull out in front of cars if I'm not comfortable. And I'm currently on a 300, so my torque and take off speeds are on the low end especially with my weight.

Valve clearance is something only newbies are worried about But yeah definitely need to check it if you ride track or wheelie about all day If you're just a every day rider I wouldn't bother until you get symptoms or rough Idle... I've had 2 cbr600rr btw

It's a 600, so it's definitely a beginner, specially being an almost 20 year old one.. if you think a 600 is too much for you to handle to start with then you probably have no business being on a motorcycle and should only stick to cars.
