It's a risky business, going through the back-catalogue!

I have played this game since it first came out. There are two versions, the 1967 and the 1971 which updated the electoral vote and made changes to the vote cards. I have been able to create a new score sheet with CURRENT electoral votes. Laminated it and everything. I also like to combine SOME of the cards from the old version with the new one. It increases the playing time but it also gives the option to cast small 50,000 vote cards in the little states and increases the total popular vote to reflect current census totals

Great review, guys. I couldn't wait for the reprint and have been playing it regularly. And you're right... even if you're not a political junkie, the game is accessible to just about everyone and has plenty of surprises (as Alexander experienced at the end). Solid game and I think the new "look" of the GMT version is even better than its Z-man counterpart (and I *loved* that one).

Wait… what?! What is it about the GMT version do you like better? Because I found it very disappointing. For me, the cards of the previous version looked much nicer and were easier to read.

Hi, is it a nice game with good longevity? I am a fan of jfk and the 50s. I am very interested in the game for the US election system. But I'm not a board game expert. Should I find out how to do it? Is it worth it?
