that phastek harness is beautiful and makes sense- looks as if it will last the life of the car.

You are just like The New Yankee workshop guy. Everything is nice and neat. I did this and donated blood reaching behind the tail light.

Just installed these and while I like the ease of install and the wire harness I may purchase some brighter/higher quality bulbs.

So much better then my video, great video Matt. The set up from gen5 dyi is great, but I do like how phastek has put a sock over the resistor.

Had bought me some LEDs and resistors from advance auto. Not sure what the problem was, but the lights were still dim lit after wiring in the resistor. Gonna order this kit and return what I got, hopefully it works out.

The overhang plastic thing you mentioned @ 4:05 is my nightmare, my hands won't get past it to turn the bulb.. but you mentioned using a screw driver to use as leverage... I might go back outside & try that.

My Plug and Play LED Reverse lights just came in, I couldn't wait and Put them right on. I had watched this video at least 15 times and it made it soo easy, Thanks for the Vids. The one thing I noticed was my resister did seem a little hot. I used the same Phastek set-up as in the Video.. How hot is ok when it comes to that resister.. I could touch it with bare hands but I could definitely feel the heat

Matt ? Have you used the phastek ground effects like front spoiler and side skirts ? Need to know if they are good quality if you did use them ? Please respond asap ! Will this kit allow for the use of led bulbs in the rest of the tail lights?

I have a 2017 Impala Premiere and I installed some JDM 7440 reverse lights. After 9 days at the dealership, it was found out the LEDs were the cause of my battery dying 4x in the first 3 months of ownership. Do you think the resistors will solve my problem? It was found the BCM wasn't getting the shut down signal from the LEDs, and it was draining my battery over the course of 2-3 days. All times this happened was over a weekend. Thanks

I just tried to install the LED lights and they wouldn't work. Could it be the lights? Connection? If I pressed on top of the light it would come on but that's it. Help!

i added the blacked out tail lights from gm like you have and now my turn signals hyper flash. will this kit fix that problem?

The car is built around an always running current. LEDs just plugged in will glow and use the power and drain your battery

Just one side as it is one loop

I'm having a hard time removing the harness, every time I push down the clip just slides back in.

It can be a pain, but it will come apart.

Hey what's up Lethal, I just ordered the OEM GM smoked lights LED with the 3rd brake light within the kit. My question is, arnt those already LED? As it States they are LED OEM replacements? From the dealer of my ad so do I need to buy the harness and bulb?

The lights in the 3rd brake light are LED. The reverse lights in the smoked setup for the reverse are not

The reverse led light only turn on when im on reverse. They do not tutn on when i press the unlock button.

Same here! Didn't bother getting the LED reverse light as I naively assumed it would be included with the OEM alternate tail light! It was a hassle to get the darn harness off. The thought of doing that all over again to install the LED reverse just makes me think if it is worth it at all.

Never mind. Only had to do the driver side and the harness was easier to pull out rather than the jacked up harness on the passenger side. Was quick and easy and didn't have to take tail light out for the passenger side!
