None of them switched, their characters became the exact opposite of how we remember them: gideon is portayed anxious and shy, thats not what mabel was like

Kiara P. it's possible, it could be a layered troll, and you aren't the only one to think that either. Look at it like this, he dropped off the radar for A WHILE, and then he comes in guns blazing with something that looks like it took ALOT of work. This is alot of work for April Fool's, so it's actually possible he is making it.
