Is there room for new players or is the playerbase too small? I've played like maybe 100 games in 2009, but I'm worried to feed every game and have no fun if I hop in now. Your videos are cool, thank you for your contribution to keeping this great game alive.

If you really really want to play and you're solo, i'd recommend muting all chats in game and giving it a try. As every other game, players can be quite toxic towards new players and since most (if not all) players have at least 500 hours in the game, they feel the need to put themselves above the others. However, if you mute everyone (I can teach you how if you don't know), you will quickly drop to around 1300-1400 (in like 5-10 games), where you probably will have balanced games, assuming, of course, that you're at that skill level. Once you're there and have everyone muted, games can be surprisingly fun

Great for you, man. However I still am and will be annoyed when people don't remake games that has a leaver on either team
