This was one of the books that got me into reading as a kid, the HorrorLand series is probably my favorite Goosebumps series, what with the idea of having an overarching plot through each of the main books and an online world you could play the books as games and another website run by the OG HorrorLand kids that linked to the books. It was impressive that they actually did all that for a fucking Goosebumps series, and it drew me into those books. It may have been years since I've read this series, but god, this is a nostalgia trip like no other

I love the sound effects! Since now with the Rona i wasnt able to read these books from school. I will now be listenign in yt!!

I remember after hearing this I had nightmares that the dummy was hiding in my closet. I woke up my parents and they said that it is not real. Then I was not afraid anymore.

I was never scared by Slappy. Til this. I mean it's a kids' book so I'm not actually scared, I'm just saying you did a good job on making him scary. I never even registered any of the Goosebumps books as scary as a kid. Except My Hairiest Adventure oddly enough
