BTW, just so you know: Both pomme and olympia are 2 of the 4 newcomers to the new game. Olympia has a field where she can cancel attacks and stun the opponent, and pomme has peach float on stereroids. Really nice to see high profile creators playing characters that represent the better side of the workshop community past sprite rips and cheapies!

I liked when Ronald just unleashed his ultimate power, but now they made it a cheap way to win with that cinematic. But I always laugh with Ronald yelling "F*CK YOU!" because he detects a powerful character.

Fun fact about Olympia: Olympia's neutral special field allows her to cancel specific moves into other moves and into themselves. Examples include uptilt and dash attack(which can be jump-cancelled) as well as her nair, and also allows anything to cancel into up special which kills quite early.

@@dhope8014 K edited it to change the word up air to up special. Everything can cancel into up special in the field, but nair can cancel into any aerial, like said up air.

Choc, I'm letting you know that Pomme actually has Peach's float mechanic, and the music cloud actually allows her to float anywhere inside it. It allows for some really cool setups and punishes

Dude Chess piece is honestly one of the sickest characters in workshop. They are entirely a trap based character and its incredibly intricate and well made.

I'm making Phineas and Ferb for RoA right now (the entire moveset is based on the Across the 2nd Dimension Wii game). It's gonna be my main focus once I finish with Scott the Woz.

You'd be surprised how good captain toad is in this, he feels like a legit character

A few workshop facts and shoutouts for ya, since you seemed interested in certain things: - Funny you mention the Honeyhive Galaxy theme, cause the stage you played on actually plays a fantastic remix of the theme made by the creator Muno! He also made the Captain Toad played, as well as many others not shown like Steve from Minecraft and a few OCs! - The 2 characters in the video that are being officially added later this year are Olympia (the crystal mouse) & Pomme (the singer mouse). The other 2 are called Mollo (a bomb-throwing moth) and Hodan (a hot spring monkey) if you wanna play them too. (Also, tip for Pomme: she has Peach float and that field lets her float in any direction.) - There are quite a few people who do take commissions for Rivals characters, but it's obviously a pricey request. If you are interested, come up with a solid character design idea, and find a good artist, one person in particular I remember is a creator named VVizard who offers programming commissions. He actually headed the project for the Ryu Hayabusa you played in the video! Anyways, you've been making some pretty fun stuff recently. Keep it up dude!

People have probably mentioned this but, Ronald and some other charaters such as Toon link have a Anti cheese script thing so if any cheesy charater is being played, well the anti cheese makes whoever is playing said charater win.

This may be a year ago but 9:45 Anti-cheat mode Ronald's code detected a blacklisted character (in this case Fox UI) when he is hit once in anti-cheat mode it causes a fake crash (sometimes a real crash) and everyone onscreen loses all stocks (except ronald who loses 997 bc he spawns with 999 and is left with 2). this leads to a corrupted win screen with the placement of players (that aren't the ronald that was hit in anti-cheat mode) constantly switching 9999999 times a millisecond

I agree the duck arc in fullmetal alchemist was the best arc in the entire show the fight scene between Ed vs the duck was probably the most well animated fight in the entire show

Golden Ronald breaks the game if he fights another OP character

I love that you took the time to show off an original mod, even if it's for a little bit. It sucks that a lot of awesome mods like that get swept under all of meme mods.

so i'm not sure if you noticed or not, but Pomme (the mouse OC you played, who is soon to join the main cast) has a peach float. and that song-bubble-thing you can place down if memory serves at the very least lets you float vertically within the field alongside horizontally and yeah, Golden/Shadow ronald do not like cheapies. that sequence at the end also happens if you pit golden/dark ronald against cosmic ronald

The duck is from a game called duck game for the switch and it's really fun. Basically a platform shooter with items ranging from a laser sniper to a trumpet. It's first to a certain score wins. I think you should try it, trust me, you'll like it. EDIT: you did mention it later in the vid, but I still think you should try it

Another ability of Olympia's crystal that's hard to figure out on your own: All her aerials basically become turbo mode inside the crystal field. Also her dash attack and uptilt can cancel into a jump!

I love how, fir the Super Shadow Ronald, he just screams "F**K YOO!" and immediately destroys your ears, launches his enemy into the fucking MOON, and crashes the game, causing a line of code that just says RONALDWINS repeatedly, with it all ending with one little piece of text saying YOU'RENEXT

To how to make a rivals character: I think there is one person in the rivals community that takes submissions. You could also ask someone to help with the art section if you know coding or vice versa. EquinoxDoodles is also doing a yt series on making a rivals character

There are some good original characters is made by someone named Sai, they have some well made characters

I think that if you visit the Workshop Discord someone might actually be interested in taking your commission

basically what happened when ronald crashed the game and automatically won was that the creator put in a code that makes ronald detect whenever he is fighting a cheap, op character and when he does, that happens.

I love rivals, make sure to check out the base cast too, they're all amazing.

Hey choc. Fun fact: The creator of Ronald McDonald (The Og version) specified it as a boss character. If you use a cheap character (like ultra instinct fox), it will automatically register and trigger Awakening Ronald, giving himself an instant win the second he hits you.

this is why this is my favorite game

For anyone who doesn’t know golden Ronald got a lot of changes, not gonna list all of them but he can basically stop time now

Golden/Dark Ronald has a cheat code where if he faces a BS character such as Cosmic Ronald or Ultra Instinct Fox, Ronald instantly wins.
