I am also rev main, and I highly disagree. The new revenant kit is trash. Passive - WHY ANOTHER SCAN LEGEND.. Its basically seers tactical. Tactical - Thats LITERALLY better vantage. Ultimate - Its basically his old ultimate but they just made it solo.

@@funkurokunai spy is a gameplay style in team fortress 2 where someone of the spy class uses the kunai to get massive kill streaks due to the large amount of healing provided on kill with the kunai, allowing them to perpetuate their spree indefinitely. Knives in tf2 have the ability to one shot if you attack from behind the target.

@@funkuro A weapon in team fortress 2. You are vanurable when you start but if you get a kill you absorb the enemys health and add it to your own

I think the difference between his and Vantages tactical is Vantage can double jump off echo to change direction mid air and it's a bit more precise

Rev is actually scary now. Imagine being 1-shot and having Rev pouncing at you to finish you off. Definitely going to be some jumpscares next week.

I kinda like the new ability to launch, because when I play him he always feels a little bit slow, so know he has that extra mobility

Are we not gonna notice how the altenator is getting its hop up back, it sounded like it in the trailer

I think Rev's jump is more for an offensive purpose (which is weird because rev's a skirmisher now, probably for balancing the much more aggressive kit now), Vantage's is more of a positioning tool as she is a recon legend. Yes rev's better in every way as he's intended to be in the forefront of starting a fight

This is a great trailer. I feel like the new Halloween mode (if we get one) is gonna be so fun with Revenant

i love how the end of the new rev trailer ends the same way as the old one whit him killing crypto

Can’t wait for the new season, only thing I will miss is revs old design but the new one is growing on me.

I don’t know why but he reminds me of a Nightmare from Season of the Haunted in Destiny 2

Revenant I’m sure won’t have as much control of their jump. Like vantage can go vertical or horizontal with echo and still has a second jump after to start going another direction

its funny how the four legends in the first part of the trailer are me and my friends mains

I was already excited for Rev reborn but that trailer was so well done

i like how macro was more worried about the stim before the jumppad rather than the tapstrafe

I was hoping the ultimate was going to be only for him, but he gets a second chance to live, and when he dies, he gets a 10 second immunity where he can’t shoot so he can reposition and if they need to balance it, they could make it, so his health is half when he gets reborn

I am not confident enough to make plays with the new revenant, and the death totem gave me confidence, but I am definitly excited about revenant reborn

Hear me out. Rev is going to have no movement control once in the pounce phase, and cant double jump either. But its said to have the range of a jump pad (without the second jump) which means vantage still has a unique kit to herself and isn't completely overshadowed. Also, from the trailer shown his ability has a short cooldown afterwards which stops him from pulling out his weapon instantly. So hes limited on where he goes afterwards. Pretty neat

The way Revanent was talking in the beginning was giving me Ultron vibes

Revenant prolly one of the coolest edgy characters in fiction😭

Man I always love movement legends, and imo I think this is by far my favorite change to a legend. I started apex literally during his debut in season 4 and was super interested in his lore and character so I honestly think he’s gonna be my new main 100%

I already mained rev for party game modes, he’s about to be insane in gun game and control

I actually like hes old abilities. Its fun to watch some players freakout with using silens

I'm just happy they kept and buffed his old passive, that by itself would've been fine on my books but they added another passive. I'm not gonna complain but damn, plus that extra passive has 2 forms, normal glowing and when you hit someone, being able to see through walls. I like the funny hunter jump but at the same time, I did want him to have a shadow teleport, also its the same distance as octanes ult💀.

Ngl haven't been this excited for a season since season 4, which ironically, was the one where Revenant was released xD

I think shadow pounce should have like a melee hit box because he has always had a melee motif

They turned Rev into a full fledged robot pilot. I am now waiting for the Kraber trick shots with Arc Stars xD

I'll miss his balls but they're keeping his passive and I'm more than happy with the rework in theory.

Funny enough when I was 14 or 16 I started playing this game and I dropped 10 dollars so I could play revenue my first day playing so revenant was my first character I ever played so this is exciting for me

His pounce has to charge up so if you don't charge up it's a small leap but if you do it's Huge but vantage does have a double jump while he dosent

As a Revenant main I see this as an absolute win

Tbh he will probably be fun but I prefer his old abilities so hopefully a new legend in the future can have them or something similar in the future

his ult reminds me of romatra from overwatch

Rev new tactical is more horizontal and vantages is more vertical and has a double jump.

He’s just a new wraith, no team play and insanely hard to kill. Gonna love having someone playing him on my team. So helpful

vantage has more height in her tactical (for positioning cuz shes a recon legend)

I think the low health passive they mean is active if an enemy got 40 HP or lower i wonder if the passive is active if the enemy got full shield but is low hp

i haven’t been hyped for a new season or any update since valkyrie came out 😅

I am a revenant main and I'm happy revs getting shown love but that also means I may not be able to play him as much since other people will be picking him, I don't love the jump I prefer the tactical personally laying into the whole I'm a scary robot you don't wann fight, if the jump was with totem that would be better or if silence was with this new ult

I think the ult hit box is to big, it completely counteracts his new movement tec, a hit box that big no body is missing their shots unless it’s their first time picking up a shooter it forces you to use it in a way it wasn’t intended for, your forced to pop it when you get low and then tac out of the fight and hope you don’t get beamed…. Also the way his abilities are currently if a rev is ballsy enough ult push he’s most likely going to get focus fired by team considering the hit box

It says non positioning jump my guess is you are not gonna be able to control how high or far unless you can time the charge meaning vantage is still unique more precise jump for slower setup

My biggest questions is if he will stay as an assault legend. Most movement legends are skirmishes who have a fairly week passive, but if he stays assault he’s gonna be even more busted.

To compare vantage to revenant’s jump I think rev can only jump in the way he’s looking. While vantage can go in any direction.

no he isnt especially if you play with snipers he is worse since his ult is bassicly useless at anything thats not close-medium range. vantage makes you go farther and its more precise while with rev it just seems you can control how high horizontally or vertically you go unile vantage where its both. Both of okay hacks not that good but not that bad. But vantage ult is still going to be better in 90% players hands since you dont need to hit as many shots and can actually force them into cover allowing your team to take high ground. It depends who is using it cuz thats like saying wraith and octane are the same just cuz they share an ability. Hell octane has a pounce with jump pad

I like it except for his ult not looking cool with the shield sphere. I do miss the suppressive ability and how his old ult was a benefit to the team.
