Many thanks, yes we'll see. It's nerve wracking to take a model via air travel but thank you very much for your kind compliments.
What a fantastic result!! Looks like a studio model! Congratulations!!!

Wonderful video! Love your attention to detail. FUN FACT: the original land speeder was repainted green for use in the background The Phantom Menace (when Ja-Jar Binks steps in the poop), and then was RE-PAINTED back to the original Star Wars color scheme. It's one of the reason's you are seeing a difference in the paint scheme on the screen used prop.

Ah ha…that makes sense. Thanks for that tidbit and for your kind compliments.
Wow!! That really turned out looking fantastic! I mean the entire thing looks great. I really like how good you painted and weathered the speeder and the figures look great as well. Love the work that you did on the base as well! Top notch job!!

Wow! Watching you build this with the modifications, paint job, and figures was like a dream - great job and I'm sure you'll have helped other modellers by taking the time to demonstrate all of your techniques.

Thank you so much Patricia. That all really means a lot. I truly appreciate your kind words. Take care
Fantastic build and amazing result once again!!! Your figure painting is excellent and I think the figures you purchased were a worthwhile investment given that however brilliant a paint job you gave the kit figures they would never do your painting justice. The modifications to the speeder look great and it illustrates what you can do with skill and imagination to a fairly simple base kit. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming. Many thanks😊

Absolutely aweosome job my friend!! I’m loving the replacement figures too! They totally remind me the yoda’s hut model kit I built back in the 90s. Look to be similar scale too!

An excellent build, Oggie! This is the type of video I really appreciate, in which modifications and enhancements are made with classic modelling techniques, rather than an over-reliance on 3D printing.

Another really lovely result Oggie 👏 Nuts to "screen accurate" - it's your model so build it how you want. It looks like Lou is going to beat you to the punch with the 1/32 TIE as he already has his kit and just has to finish his second Kronos 1 before tackling it.

Turned out great! Nice build all around. I also thought I'd add to your mystery about Obi-Wan sitting different...you sanded off part of his bottom (@6:00)!

Thanks so much. Yes sanded off part of his bottom but pretty sure if you elevate him a little one can avoid that. Thanks for your kind comments
Superb work. You’d think that a experienced company like revell would have gotten more of the detail correct, especially in this day and age.

Oggie, Another excellent build, as usual ! Your concept, implementation, and overcoming problems is great to see, and the fact that you take the time to explain what and how you did something is commendable. Your paint work is great as is your masking. Lou is a great friend to have and proves how important networking in the modeling community is. This one is one of your best, and may have earned a flight to Louisville !! Thanks for a great channel and content !

Most impressive results ! Thanks for the tips about the figures. I was actually looking for correct replacement for C3PO and Luke and adding R2 and some Sandtroopers... :D Wanted to use the STAR WARS COMMAND toys line, but the scale is not the right one :D

Absolutely Fantastic. The Paint the Weathering and Mods are Perfect. I like when a kit has some inaccuracies , making it more accurate is part of the fun . Oggy do you have any plans to build the Doll and hobby 1/35 scale Lost in Space Chariot ?
@InterstellarModeler

Thank you very much. Yeah i dont have any plans with the LOS chariot. So many others to work on I’m afraid but it sure looks like a cool kit. Thanks again
That model turned out awesome!! Just spitballing here Oggie, I was wondering if it was possible to get strong enough magnets that were small enough to mount in the model and diorama base so the model would hover?? Just a thought!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Thanks so much. I actually did look into this. It was more trouble than it was worth. It would have required plugging it into an adapter. Cool idea but I decided to just keep it simple.

Obviously too late, but concerning the front dent. I would of heated a bolt to cherry, then held it close until a crater sagged in, then run a round file through the crater to scar it. nice and easy. A cigarette would do it as well but I quit.

The problem I've always found with melting plastic is that you don't have as much control. Once it's done that's pretty much it. For me the apoxie worked out well enough. Thanks for watching
