It's funny, you see these kids today, with their brand new Hellcats on the drag strip, and they just don't appreciate what came before...as a result, they snap axles and blow their engines showing off. They didn't bust their own knuckles on the car, so no biggie for them. Great review!!!!

Thanks man!
Nice review of a cool kit. The Max Wedge Dodges and Plymouths were tearing it up in 63 with the downsized large cars then switched to the hemi in 64

Thanks for watching Jeff
That is a very good kit from Revell. You are correct, Chris Cortel is building one right now & he will do an excellent job with it . He always does. Thanks for the review. You always cover these kits so well.

Thanks Rick!
Savoy was for the drag strip, and Belvedere was for the ovals. They pretty much came out simultaneously.
Great review of an awesome kit! As a point of reference; This kits gives you 2 transmission options. The first is the 4-speed manual. The other option was the FMX automatic. This was the cast-iron bodied, automatic that the C6 replaced. I believe this is the only current kit that offers that transmission option....

I don't have it but if I do get it some day I'll video it for ya
the 64 tbolt was a street legal race car you could order back in the early 60s
The 1964 Plymouth Savoy and The 1964 Ford Fairlaine T-Bolt were Released nearly Simultaneously They Were Factory Experimental 1 year only. The Plymutgs had Aluminum hoods n Fenders While Ford used Fiberglass for those Front pieces The Plymouth Out Weighed the Ford by 7 lbs too Plymouth had 426 Wedges while Ford used 427 Both Ran like 10.90s for E.T.s in Quarter mile at about 130 +MPH thru the Traps These were Sort of Prerunners for Mopar of the Super Stock Mopar Dodge/Plymouth of " Lil Ole Lady From Pasedena" song Fame I was Going to Do a Dualing Grannies Diorama using the T-Bolt as Parts Donor for 63 1/2 Comet Sports roof Resin body for the Idaho Granny's car in Blue. With a Super Stock 2 Dr Post in Red for Pasedena granny with Granny Figurines Hope this answered part of Question. Hot Rod Magazine did a Heads up side by side article of the 64 T Bolt vs 64 Savoy in about 85/86 while I was in Auto Tech School
Hmmmm...with the stock hood and hubcaps, I wonder if you could build a granny grocery getter...with a 6 or small block V8?
Were those Keystone wheels I saw?
