    Thank you for the analysis. I would like to point out that in the Susan blue car example you gave, Susan drives a blue car + blue cars gets 33 mpg does not prove that Susan's car gets 33 mpg because NOT ALL blue cars get 33 mpg. And this is why I don't like these cognitive tests. It encourages candidates to be bold and careless. For people who focus on details, these tests will screw them up. Last week I had a numerical reasoning question where I was 100% confident that none of the answer was right unless I ignored some facts and made myself think like a careless person so I did and I passed the test......

    these questions are about logical reasoning. you shouldn't include any prior or outside knowledge when answering.

    @@oa1021 i think it's more appropriate to describe it as "thinking inside the box" or "tunnel vision". For people who consider all possibilities that satisfy the question statement, this test will screw you over. That was my experience. I beat the test by turning on tunnel vision. it's the type of tests that anyone can pass if they train themselves a bit to think like a machine. I do not see the point of using such a test.
