Sal, my Brother, I have changed my opinion of electronic sets after watching you play yours. If I heard it, and didn't see you playing an electronic set, I'd never know the difference. I just bought my first set last week, I haven't played since I got sick, but I'm feeling better, and doing better every day, Praise the Lord!! I was diagnosed with a low grade glioma in the mesial temporal lobe of my hippocampus in 2005.- (Brain tumor in the center of my brain.) It grew big enough to show up on an MRI, and then stopped, Praise the Lord!! I'll be watching your videos as I start to play again. Yea, well, you know how it is, I'm walking around the home without shoes, so why not?! Well it was better to play the hat with my left hand because the sidestick trigger was on my right side, so it would have been awkward crossing over my arms. Just wanna say I appreciate the videos. Did marching band never set work. Watching your videos basically teaches me what do with our praise band in church. Not sure if that's your intentions with posting these videos but very grateful for them.

I have a lot of respect for those drummers - one needs some highly developed chops to play in those bands. My intention was to share my love for the music and the drumming. Thank you. I used a !4" Black Beauty snare with PB toms & kick. Don't recall the cymbals.

what kind of adjunct are you using to duplicate the rim shot sound? is it tied into the electrical part of the kit?

The snare is dual zone triggering - one on the head, one on the rim. The sidestick sound is assigned to and being triggered by a Roland Bar Trigger

Beautiful fills, brother! Are they yours, or are you copying ver batim from the track? I love how you keep perfect time through all your fills. I tend to rush my counting, so I somteimes think you're dragging during those fill spots, but danged if you don't land it every time on the "one"! I love it, cuz it adds "weight" to the whole piece. You teach me about time. Great job, pal.

Looks like a Roland kit, TD-20 series

It's a TDW-20 module with VH-12 hat, TD-12 pads & cymbals with a Roland Bar Trigger. Triggering a kit from Superior Drummer's Music City software.
