Reveille Peak 2024 | RPR Loop | Texas Mountain Biking

We ride the RPR Loop from start to finish (apx. 2.5 miles) and show every major feature. Hard to imagine that there is an XC mountain bike trail in Texas that is any tougher than this but if you have one drop it in the comments - would love to give it a try

That place is so incredible. Haven't been there in a while, need to go back.

Love the videos. For my money Emma Long in Austin has been the toughest albeit shorter loop I've experienced in TX.

You should give the Cross Timbers Trail on Lake Texoma a try if you like tough XC, extra points if you do the loops that head off the main trail (Lost, Kiwanis, etc.).

We've been eyeing that trail. Looks awesome! We get up to Dallas a number of times a year but dont get to ride up there that often.

Barton creek greenbelt has sections that are harder. I think government canyon might be on par difficulty wise

I always laugh because trailforks lists Barton Creek Greenbelt as mostly easy green trails. Some pretty challenging stuff in there. Love both BCG and Govt. Canyon!

The RPR loop is 2.6 miles according to trailforks. That day we did around 12-14 miles total at Reveille Peak Reanch and were there for a good 3-4 hours. One of the hardest parts is not knowing your way around. Tons of crossecting trails and some markers but not as many as you'd like if its your first trip
