Please keep bringing us interesting tutorials that encourages us to give them a try.

Penelope is one of my favorite favorite fabric lines. So happy and cheery. There are so many awesome fabrics in that collection to use for a border but when I look at your blocks I see the hot pink ones stand out the most. So I’d probably put a thin white border before a wider hot pink border to bring you back in to all the colors in the quilt. Thanks Miss April for always bringing insight to a simple block and open the “possibilities” door! So fun. 🤗🤗

You made more cuts on the lower left block, so it'll be one inch smaller than the other three blocks. I'm pretty sure that you will either trim the three larger blocks to match the smallest block or make the sashing wider around the smallest block. Take care and thank you for the great ideas!

Another fun quilt adding the pink sashing would all a pop of color that would unite the blocks. The smaller block would need a slightly wider sashing to even it with the other blocks, but that shouldn’t be hard. As you were cutting the different blocks, I was surprised when the blocks didn’t all come out the same size A good lesson to learn. Thanks for making quilting so enjoyable

The use of the pie wedge label instead whatever the correct angle says that I’m watching the right channel channel. The tops you wear and the chocolate, not to mention your obvious love for the babies suggests we’re from the same tribe. I started watching this video when it was first posted and stopped when you made the first cut of the double d9p because I had an aha moment. 2 days later I briefly paused at another aha moment. That’s the beauty of quilters. Each of us sees something and that inspires something completely different. The traditional D9P has always been my go to. That one block has infinite possibilities. Different fabrics in different shades of 2 or 3 colors create quilts visually appealing timeless quilts. TFS.
