“…and if you are, you’re watching the wrong channel.” OMG! I burst out laughing! My husband gave me a look, since he’s watching tv and has no idea what I’m watching on my iPad. I love your videos, April! You’re my kind of quilter. 😄😋

Love this! Never knew what was meant by disappearing nine patch!Duh 😮
Thank you for taking the mystery out of the disappearing 9 patch !!! Well Done❣Your shout outs were so sweet too💗
Thank you, April, for making quilting so much less intimidating for me. It's not a mistake - it's a modification! That's my new mantra! Seriously, love your channel because of the realness of it. Perfection isn't as important to me as fun and creativity are. You, rock!
You are my kind of quilter! It’s not a mistake, it’s a modification. ❤️
Upper right is my favorite too. You could use the same center square on all and bring it all together. I have yardage to make a king sized quilt and think i finally found the pattern.

Sounds great!
I like to watch you because you laugh at yourself and move on to finishing what you started. I have tried these blocks and it was scary to cut up my blocks at first but I was pleased with what I got in the end. Took some remeasuring in the end. Please keep bringing us interesting tutorials that encourages us to give them a try.
😂❤❤ definitely the pink sashing between them..😊
April, just let me say, you’re a hoot to watch!!!! I love your editorials while you’re filming. Perfectionists this is not your channel 😂😂😂. I love your videos and this tutorial in the disappearing 9 patches was fun. Please keep them coming!!!! Huggies 🌹🌹🌹
Another great tutorial. I did love your FQ 9 patch, what a great way to quickly make a larger quilt and use up some of my FQs. I’ll definitely be giving some of these a try.
Yes, the pink sashing sounds perfect. Can’t wait to see the finished quilt.
What a hoot! So free and relaxing, no pressure to match seams. Thanks for sharing. ❤👍from Somerset UK
Thanks love this video. Your favourite quilt block is my favourite. Thanks for sharing the disappearing nine patch. I think pink boarders will look great. ❤️❤️
Thanks for sharing your unintentional modification it gives me the confidence to keep on going
So interesting to see the many turns you can take quilting for a different look. Thank you April
Corner blocks and assorted color sashing, like in the blocks. Love your descriptions! Thank you for the four variation demonstation!
I have a bunch of 5” squares both from scraps and purchased bundles, now I know what to do with them! Thank you. Not a boring disappearing nine patch, that’s for sure!
The layer cake you used for the disappearing nine patch I had too and did a stack-n-whack quilt! I thought I recognized that fabric! Lol
I like the top right the best. I like the idea of pink sashing around each block. Great tutorial as always!!!

Thanks so much! 😊
Really like the pink FQ blocks and think a medium green sashing, making them look like flowers in a garden with a vine stitch. SPRING 🎉😊.
I just love your attitude 👍😊🤪
Penelope is one of my favorite favorite fabric lines. So happy and cheery. There are so many awesome fabrics in that collection to use for a border but when I look at your blocks I see the hot pink ones stand out the most. So I’d probably put a thin white border before a wider hot pink border to bring you back in to all the colors in the quilt. Thanks Miss April for always bringing insight to a simple block and open the “possibilities” door! So fun. 🤗🤗
😂😂 my sister inlaw I love the magical disappearing 9 patch ❤ Looks Great
I might do 2 blocks framed in a green and the other 2 blocks framed in pink. Then a pink/green border all around. Thanks for this idea using bigger size blocks.
It just amazes me how you can use the rotary cutter with either hand. Thanks for another great video!

It's funny. I don't even think about it until I use a rotary cutter you can only use if it is in your right hand. Drives me CRAZY! Is it a drive to CRAZY? Probably more a walk. LOL
I loved this demonstration it’s was amazing to see all the ways to use a 9 patch!

Great tutorial on the disappearing 9 patch. I really liked The 2nd one you did, it would be a great block to show off a focal fabrici the center. Great job April!
Awesome blocks, and 👍to quilters! ❤
I am so glad that you got the filming fixed. So much easier to watch your videos. I love the disappearing blocks.
You can make matching pillow shams with the quilt. Absolutely love your videos.

I always enjoy your tutorials! You often tease Di about using "little" pieces ... I recently finished making a heart and cross quilt..... it had 1" squares!!!!! Oh My🙃
Thanks so much April I love your blocks on all your videos
You made more cuts on the lower left block, so it'll be one inch smaller than the other three blocks. I'm pretty sure that you will either trim the three larger blocks to match the smallest block or make the sashing wider around the smallest block. Take care and thank you for the great ideas!
Wow you are so brave to sew those blocks and then cut them apart! Yikes! That layer cake is so pretty I loved the colors and floral, yes I would love to see sashing or border , will you show us how you put them all together when you finish the top? Happy Quilting! Am really enjoying your videos!

I love the Disappearing 9 Patch, but I had no idea there were so many ways to do it. Thanks so much for this tutorial! I'm going to do it!!! It might be fun to put one of each method in the same quilt? Yes it is. Whoopee
Some time we forget to tell you thank you
I love your hilarious enthusiasm you make it sound so easy. I have never done a 9 patch x now I will. 😊 HAPPY EASTER to you.
I really love watching your vidoes. Cause always tell everybody to have fun..sewing..
You are a wonderful teacher. Thank You April
Love the choices. Makes it more fun.
You are an inspiration, and I love your show. I've learned so much from you ❤
Hi April, Awesome info, thanks for sharing! Yeah a sashing and border would look super nice on your disappearing 9patch, love them! ❤

I would like to see a light green sashings only on two sides. then you can turn the blocks when sewing together to change the look a little more.
I think a green sashing would look lovely too especially since there is so much pink in each block already
I am definitely watching the "wrong" channel. Love your videos. ❤😊
I love watching your tutorials, they are always a hoot. I quilt like you. I also liked the same one you liked the best, the scrappy was second. Thanks for being real, love you!🥰
I love this kind of block. I made place mats and a runner this way. Loved it!!
Thank you for all the tips they really come in handy

April you always make my day. I learn alot and 😂. Love this disappearing 9 patch you have given me a great idea for my next quilt.

You can do it!
Another fun quilt adding the pink sashing would all a pop of color that would unite the blocks. The smaller block would need a slightly wider sashing to even it with the other blocks, but that shouldn’t be hard. As you were cutting the different blocks, I was surprised when the blocks didn’t all come out the same size A good lesson to learn. Thanks for making quilting so enjoyable
I would use a light green sashing instead of pink. Then I would use a darker pink for top and bottom.
I love disappearing nine patches almost as much as I love your channel!! Thanks for another great video!

The use of the pie wedge label instead whatever the correct angle says that I’m watching the right channel channel. The tops you wear and the chocolate, not to mention your obvious love for the babies suggests we’re from the same tribe. I started watching this video when it was first posted and stopped when you made the first cut of the double d9p because I had an aha moment. 2 days later I briefly paused at another aha moment. That’s the beauty of quilters. Each of us sees something and that inspires something completely different. The traditional D9P has always been my go to. That one block has infinite possibilities. Different fabrics in different shades of 2 or 3 colors create quilts visually appealing timeless quilts. TFS.

Look like an Irish chain. Wonder what it would look like intermingling the smaller blocks as a ten inch block mixture up with the larger blocks.😅
I like the smaller blocks😊
Thank you SO MUCH for this tutorial !! I want to make one of these blocks and see if I can do it..... Looks amazing without so much work..... Love your blocks and Pink or Black would look really great.... hugs

These blocks are so fun. You can do so many different moves with this block. Then sew together and use sashing or not you can do QAYG if you want which is what I do so no long are.
Great blocks. I would like a sashing added to give the blocks some definition. Thanks for sharing the disappearing nine patch options. I love them.
Excellent thank you April

I think I would add a sashing with corner stones to accent your beautiful squares. I love your creativity and how you make it so much fun to quilt. I think being perfect is way over rated. I have yet to make anything that doesn't have an oops in it.
I would suggest that you put the sister blocks together and work from there because it tells a story.
❤❤ Thank you, you have taught me alot. 😊 Great on the double cut is really cool. 😊😊 Happy Easter 🐰

Your favorite is my favorite also!
I stumbled on you just by chance. What a lucky girl I am! I love your presentation and your energy shines through for what you do. I’ll be cutting some 10inch blocks in the morning. You have put a stop to my procrastinating. Thank you so much. All the way from Australia. Hugs.
Awesome video. Loved seeing all the ideas. Making a dot cat combo quilt for the grandkids, so I think I will make this one with all different 10” squares. Keep the great cutting up block videos coming. I think u should do a totally scrappy sashing and border using up pieces of each fabric in the blocks, keep the scrappy going. Can’t wait for your next video. happy Easter.
