Hi Lauren, I'm an interior designer and studied psychology of color. If you can, I suggest you change your bedroom color. While Blue is such a restive color for a bedroom, that may also help in your feeling lethargic. Try off-white walls with a yellowish hue. It will help your mood and may make you feel more active. Off-white with a green cast may also work. Sending you lots of love and well wishes. ❤
You really need to see the Philippines beaches. It will help your mental health. Nature will help reset you. When you guys have time to go out of metro manila you need to immerse yourself with nature.
I had the same thing, I met an russian Doctor he told me it can be cured naturally, without medication. 1st Socialization 2. Removing negativity 3. Living for people you love 4. Start a new hobby 5. Keep busy yourself 6. Do hardwork until your body needs sleep or rest 7. Do regular walks and exercise. 8. Spirituality

For most people, that works or may help, but people with a chemical imbalance will not be able to climb out of bipolar mania/depression without the aid of medication that helps regulate chemicals in the brain/gut.
That’s brave of you, Lauren. Praying for you and your family. Whatever works for you is fine. Like you said, no pressure. Just allow yourself to enjoy the moment and then Record some snippets so that you can make a “diary” or to chronicle the events that happen from you PoV. You can even “insert” some vids like this which will help your viewers learn more about you.
I hope you realize that simply by vlogging about your personal emotional situation, you are doing something very productive, i.e., helping others with similar issues to realize that they are not alone and that it's Okey to bring these concerns out of the closet and into the sunlight. If you can't find a support group in the area, perhaps you might consider starting one through the powerful reach of social media. Josh is making a huge impact on the music scene over there - perhaps you might try to do the same with mental and emotional health issues - areas that will always be around in this crazy, unpredictable world. Chin up. Life flows in cycles and this too shall pass. Focus on your gifts wherever possible - you and your family are gifted, intelligent, attractive and charismatic- you all have exceptional, likeable personalities. We believe in you and support you all the way - always! ❤
I understand the situation. I've been working from home since 2020, when I was bedridden in Dec 2019 2 months prior to me giving birth to my 3rd child. Post partum depression + Pandemic + workingfromhome setup + caring for a newborn totally ruined me. But I know I'm getting better and I will be better, I just need to focus on things that I know will make me smile :) little things, small baby steps... you'll get there...
Sending you a big warm hug, Lauren. Let’s hit the beach soon!
Lauren, I can relate, went through a bad stress and panic attack. Doctor recommended me a medication but got me more sick. The only thing that helps me is I went to a Therapist. That’s helps a lot. Right now, I feel so much better. It only triggers once in awhile and I can control it before it escalates. Thanks for letting us know, utmost respect for opening especially a very sensitive issues. Hang in there, everything is gonna be okay. Happy Valentine’s to you and Josh. ❤
Please do takecare of yourself . You still got a family surrounds you .You're not alone ,just talk and express yourself We're here to listen and to give you comfort.
I will support your channel no matter what .I am an ofw for 18yrs and I can't put it into words but I'm edified by your story/journey. Thank you.
This is what we feel too when we migrate to other country. Homesick is the biggest struggle
No worries, Lauren. I pray for you and your family's success and well being every single day. God bless and much love from SoCal.
Im sad this happened to you Lauren.. I can really relate with you Lauren..My journey with my struggles on my mental health issues were insane..It took me almost twelve years battling emotional and mental crisis like depression and anxiety/panic attacks..It all started when my two girls were pretty small.. My husband is a seaferer who works overseas in the ship so most of the time just me and my two girls in the house as Im a full time stay at home mom.. There were months Im doing good then instantly it comes back.. It got to a point that I could hardly breathe.. So I went to a cardiologist thinking I have a heart problem but results from my ecg and 2decho were fine.. The doctor told me to go out and talk with family and friends.. It did help but it was not a permanent solution.. it was a repetitive cycle.. So, fast forward today , my daughters are both grown up teenagers and they are a big support of my journey because my husband is not present all the time due to the nature of his work.. A very tough journey I would say from the beginning and as time went by my struggles got worse but led my journey to a finish line filled with hope.. I turned to God since the beginning up until this time that theres hope in God.. Dont give up easily...Fight the evil because it literally plays on the mind..If not for continued prayers and faith in God, I dont think Ive made it..God gave me a beautiful life so I have to take care of my health..With all the support we get from family and friends, iti s best to help yourself first..God helps those who also help themselves..Medication is only a temporay cure but not a permanent solution for depression and anxiety.. Lauren I wanna reach out to you.. But how? I dont have an instagram.. Is it okay if I could talk with you..Sincerely, just wanna help you and share my journey and how I fixed it naturally.. If I would tell it here how Ive overcomed it , it would probably take so long hehehe.. Thank You for reading my message and would appreciate that..Sending hugs of comfort, love and prayers.. I love you Lauren!.. God bless you..🙏❤
Hugs to you Lauren. Just share whatever your struggles, it will help you heal. We will listen.
hugs momsh! you can do this! we will be praying for you and your family as you adjust you life here
You are looking more beautiful now. I like your hair this way. Sending ❤️
Awe God Bless you & Hugs Lauren 🤗 I wouldn’t have known you have those conditions if you hadn’t shared. Your strong & brave and you have such great attitude 😊 We love you & support you and the fam 😊 Be well great child of GOD 🥰
I can’t relate even though I am already a senior citizen and is always at home. When I was younger, you wouldn’t find me at home. Either I am at work or enjoying myself in the malls with my friends. Nowadays, I enjoy spending my time at home just being idle…watching tv, you tube or netflix. I always wanted to have a garden of my own but unfortunately, I don’t have a green thumb. It’s my husband who takes care of our small garden infront of our house. But sometimes, I also get bored and restless inside the house. What I do is go to parks and walk until I get tired. I enjoy the air, silence and the greenery in the parks I go to. It’s like therapy for my boredom. Perhaps, you may try to think what will make your mind and body relax for a while that you can do on a regular basis. Think of a hobby that will make you feel relax and perhaps busy too.
It's the struggle when you got uprooted.. take each new things either people, situation, routine one day at a time... Most important is don't lose your Core, your Core values.. who and what you are from the place you grow up (US) you don't have to lost it..instead enrich it with the new environment you are in.. We share common values esp for the better.. Be guided🙏🏻💪🏻 God bless to all Jennifer
Its hard to be away from your family and friends ,I experienced depression here in US I had a baby and don't get any help no family family around just me and my husband need to work. I hope you will get vacation like in going to the beaches, nature's are good to your mental health.
Sending you love and light, Lauren. I encourage you to do more of this kind of content. Just putting words to what’s going on inside our head helps clarify things for us and blow away the murky air that sometimes envelops our lives.
Virtual hug from my family to you Lauren, my wife is struggling also with anxiety, depression,,just do what makes you Happy,be positive,be happy, where just here silently supporting your vlog and Gidkiddad...don't push yourself too much...if what makes you feel better then do it..mental health is important
Hi Lauren! You know what?? The first time I've watched your family moved to the Philippines I thought, you're one amazing and brave wife and mother! Imagine leaving everything to support this new life and have a toddler with you is a brave move as a mother and as a wife. I'm familiar with the feelings you have shared and these feelings may also be caused by lack of security with your situation. Some people thrive with that, but some are having a hard time. I just want to let you know that prayers have helped me a lot. It's like meditation. And these quotes from the bible also have helped me, "For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” ❤ May God bless you and your beautiful family. ❤

It takes a lot of courage to share your truth. I admire you for that. Please take as much time as you need. You have been under a lot of stress. All of us who have migrated somewhere else know the difficulties of having to start everything from scratch. It is not an easy endeavor. Take a breath. Go to a spa. Do what you need to do. We’ll be here when you are ready. 🤗
Random vlogs like this with no or minimal planning and with spontaneous topic are a lot of times better, i think, because you feel the rawness, the authenticity, the genuineness in the person. You're getting the personal vibe too so you get more connected which is good😊 So yes, i personally like these kind of content👍
Praying for your well being Lauren. We love your channel and GKD FAMILY. Sending hugs and prayers. 🫰🏻💕
Laureeeeeeen! Hugs to you from me. AND BEACH.❤❤❤❤
oh glad to see you back. yeah, you do you, mental health is serious topic. good to see that you're getting back on track! :) take care!

Praying for your well being.
Hey guys, don't skip ads to help them. GOD BLESS YOU.
Take care Lauren, I know it I not easy but I will pray for your recovery 🙏🙏🙏.
Always pray to God for good health safety to your whole family... always looking forward for your life updates. GOD BLESS ❤️
I don't know if it will help, but set aside a day in a week or every month for you and your husband to have a date night. Or just a day for you to relax. Have a regular massage. The massage here are cheap. There are even home-service massage. It could be a way for you to relax. The pace in the Philippines is slow. Maybe you just need time to adjust. There is nothing wrong being homesick. Call family and friends. It is easier and cheaper these days. If you are feeling down, just hug your husband and child. 😊 I hope you will feel better soon. God bless!
I'm soooooo happy that you are feeling better, we can relate, us that are working in the USA, been living here for so many years can relate to the way you feel, you are a BEAUTIFUL person, HONEST and caring and true to your self, we are all praying for your SUCCESS and happiness and health, love all your CONTENTS, watching all the way from MANHATTAN NEW YORK

Hi. I just want to let you know that you are not alone in the side of this world. I also have a Bipolar 2 disorder, really hard when relapse sets in. But my doctor always reminds me that this phase also has an end. Keep on fighting. Dont pressure yourself on making contents. Do it with passion and love at your own pace. Numbers will follow. Always remember that your peace of mind is always the priority. Fans love all of you for your being true. So dont mind those few who don't.
Get well soon Lauren. You and your family is in my prayers.
HI Lauren, i feel you. I to is diagnosed with the same. Keep strong. I will keep you in my prayers.
Hoping you feel better every day as you move on. Moving to a different country, a different culture, is such a major life event and not having the right meds is crucial. I hope your meds are available there and you’ve found a good doctor. Take care.
GKD Mom -- It is not easy moving to a new country, supporting the business, and raising Gideon even under ideal conditions. Think of yourself first. People around you need you strong and healthy.
Miss you a lot hope you will be fine.just remember you are now a family to us so please feel our love for you and your family is already a part of our lives. God will bless you more and soon be better.

Stay strong Lauren.... You can get through it... Fighting
Hi Lauren. Been wondering where u at months ago but there... my questions answered. I have a daughter , now 33 years old that had gone through depression. Medical advice is great help & more than anything the support of fam and church community. May I recommend you visit CCF in Pasig or Victory Church in BGC where community is light & good. Never ever forget that u are loved. Whatever the future holds, we have an ANCHOR .❤
we love you, Lauren, your family & your channel.. you have our outmost support, always.. ❤
Sending hug to you Lauren. I'm your fan. We love you. ❤❤❤.
Lauren, praying for your depression to be healed and try to relax and enjoy your day in your Vlog channel and will support you always ❤️ God bless 😍
Hang tight and take it day by day. Say a little prayer. Visit one of our islands. Take in the beauty of it all. Relax and take a breather. Manila can be very overwhelming. Praying for you, Gideon & Josh.
I hug you and keep heads up girl you can do it! Much love from the hood on Quezon city Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤
My prayers, hugs and kisses heading your way. May you stay strong for yourself and your family's sake as well. It is harder for you since your families and friends are not around to give you comfort and offer their shoulders for you to lean on. Please always keep in mind that life is worth living no matter what hardships come our way. May God bless and keep you in His care always.
Stay strong, Lauren. Praying for you ❤️
I want to say more than seeking medical or clinical help and communicate with friends or family. Communicate it with our creator for peace, calmness and discernment for a good judgement and descision. Groove the journey by praying hard. Play hard in life but pray harder for guidance. I will pray for your family and always trust the process called journey and destiny.
Lauren, take care of yourself first, we are always here to support you. This way of you talking about it, is also a good thing, it can help other who are on the same both as you. Always know you are loved. Hugs for you and your family.❤❤❤🤗
I got you. Its a hard adjustment & thats good dont force yourself if you dont want too. Your a good wife, mom & a person. Chill & take it easy.Maybe once in a while the whole family visit some place in the philippines even just luzon bcoz you need to recharged after exhausting daily chores, you & your husband deserved it.. a relaxing just even 2 days like tagaytay etc. I know you will overcome all challenges i do believed you are a strong & loving person. Stay blessed & safe from ireland.
I am so sorry , just from what I’ve seen in your vlogs, I never would have known, but thank you for your courage . Your honesty and humility in revealing this publicly is bravery. I know that these conditions are real and shouldn’t be taken lightly . Prayers to your family 🙏🏻❤just take your time , one day at a time. Don’t pressure yourself in making contents for the channel ; put yourself first and your family. Will be praying for your healing .
For me you must travel here in the Philippines so you can breath a while there's so may beaches here and mountains to visit you need relaxation

They can start with Tagaytay City and White sand beaches in Batangas, Nuvali, EK. Very near Manila.
As a fan of you and your family journey in the phillippines , your well being is more important and will patiently wait if needed. I am glad you are doing better and can't wait to watch more when it comes out. Thank you for sharing your good times and the troubles you are personally having which makes me fell more part of your family's journey.
This was brave of you to share, Lauren. You are doing good- just by going back to vlogging is a productive way to heal. We all have snags along the way, esp. with your huge leaps of faith here. But hey, you should be proud of yourselves and how far you have gone in all your achievements in the music industry here. Yeah, hope the family can hit the beach soon- the sea and its breeze is also medicinal. It doesn't have to be far Boracay; a 2 nights 3day-stay in Subic Beach Resorts like Acea and Camayan, that are just 2-3 hours away, can be refreshing.😀 All the best!
Don't be too hard on yourself. We are all patiently waiting ❤
I want to share with you what my friend in Christ told me: Those are attacks from the enemy the devil. Those are not from God. You see I've been saddled with bipolar disorder (w/ psychotic features) for over 2 decades now. I can say that the struggle is real. During episodes, i can't sleep properly especially because i didn't understand why there seemed to be voices in my mind. I entertained those voices. I also experienced both manic and depressive states. But it all got better. I sought God while my family made sure I got medical support through the years. Although i had to suffer through the stigma with being judged 'crazy', GOD PULLED ME THROUGH. I am highly functional in between episodes. During episodes, i take a rest from society. I recuperate at home. That has been my reality. I am well aware of my triggers (stress, whichever kind; lack of sleep; dwelling on past hurts; etc.) already. I try to avoid them. I've also made efforts to get healthier. Walking and getting sunshine almost everyday help me with my mood and physical well-being. I try to get sufficient SLEEP by waking up early and hitting the bed early. I do a few chores. I try to surrender all my worries to GOD for He's the Only One who can give me rest. God loves me more than anybody can. And when i feel a trigger might affect me, i voice out, 'JESUS, YOU ARE MY HEALER!!!' GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY, LAUREN!! MAY THE HOLY SPIRIT CONTINUALLY FILL ALL OF YOU ALL THROUGH YOUR DAYS.

Lauren, I hope you'll find time to read all the comments from your supporters because they are all so helpful and written out of concern and love for you. I too can relate. I have a daughter battling with bipolar disorder, of chemical imbalance. It's terrible. Yes, medications help, but more to that, avail yourself of others that will help you get through it. One day at a time. There are many great suggestions and advices already given above. Let me mention a few more. Find time to do vounteer work, one that makes you appreciate life even more, one that makes your heart sing while serving others. Surround yourself with people who are happy helping people. No negativity. Explore, find a hobby that you love and want to keep going back to it. Find more hobbies. Do not be guilty of having to spend hours doing your hobbies and/or volunteer work away from home. Remember that just like meds, you need it. Josh and Gideon will understand. Do your hobbies/volunteer work while they do their work/school. Life balance is key. Get lots of sunshine. Go to a beach, lake, or a place you can enjoy and/or where you find peace. Other than Josh and Gideon, find a friend who knows you, understands you, loves you and want to help you get through your day, who can accompany you go to places. Does not have to be everyday. Find that someone you can fully trust. That friend is hard to find. If you haven't tried this yet, this is most important: seek God. He's a prayer away. He answers. He heals. He directs our paths. When we turn to Him to help us get through our day, we can trust Him to carry us through everyday. And don't forget, we are given 7 days. 1 of 7 is day of rest. It's family time of rest and recreation. I wish you and your family all the best.❤
Take your time Lauren. It does take a big toll on ones overall health when a big move is made. In some sense I also experienced something similar, but it was our move the other way around, when we migrated from the Phil to Canada. After the initial very hectic, busy transition and the euphoria and excitement of the move, the next months seems to make one feel like being dropped, somewhat depressed and alone. It is understandable as finally it truly sets in you are no longer in your old space, in your former lifestyle and away from other usual friends. But in time things will turn up and stabilize again, as you get better foothold and bearings of the new culture and living conditions/challenges you and your family will face. Hope you guys find time to unwind as often as you need to, explore around..that will help you adjust better. Looking forward to your future updates..take care!❤
Thank you for sharing this. I can relate, been in that situation. I never left my room for a couple of months.I know this might sound like a clichè but we, your followers are here to support you. You can talk to us, we can even meet in person and just talk. Talking face to face could absolutely help. But what brought me back to life? My "personal" goals. I started putting in papers what I really love and the game plans to get them. The "how" fueled me to live each day as it comes. You too can find a way to wake up each day with so much enthusiasm. I admire you bec you are one brave woman dear, living here and leaving a lot of things/people behind. Your soul is just homesick and eventually it will heal itself. Be strong. Stay healthy. We are here--your Filipino family.
YOLO. Don"t worry be happy
Ya sometimes its happen to everybody ,the anxiety, because you are alone be strong ,just like that ifyou are married not everytime you are with brother and sister and your mom and dad,we need to be far from our family to kive because you have children to give good education and pursue yhe career they want.
downside of medication are the myriad of side effects long term. some people use carnivore diet to improve mental health and the down side of that is that it aint easy to start it. ultimately its up to the individual to decide
Take a break, breathe then keep moving ❤ we love you!
I encourage you to continue to express yourself even thru this channel as it will be therapeutic as well.. You are definitely adjusting to a new / different culture which can be challenging .. im happy that you and family made it this far . Just wondering if it's possible for your counseling sessions with USA docs to continue via Zoom or facetime .. Praying for your physical , mental well-being... Stay strong and be positive.... God bless.
You are beautiful Lauren❤. Don't give up. Put God your center and all is well❤
Sending you tight hugs Lauren. You are such a brave woman. I can only hope and pray that you are able to get the medicines you need on time. Pls continue to share what you're going through bec it helps for you and for us who may also be in the same situation as you. Stay safe and well 💜.
Make an out of the town activities.. visit different islands to refresh.. it helps a lot.. sometimes to take a rest from busy days is much needed for our mental health.. go outside metro and get refresh..
Love you, friend ❤
Big hugs, will be praying for you.❤️🙏
Virtual hug mommy ❤
May the force be with you.
Maraming salamat! Take care!
You can overcome that stress and anxiety that you have right now. Make yourself busy with somethinhg that you loved to do or maybe meet some Filipinos that you can be friends . Staying inside your room alone and thinking about so many things in your mind will only aggravate your mental health. Explore, enjoy, embrace the complexity of outside world . Start to adopt the Filipino mentality of being able to become happy even in their lowness and scarcity in life. Just compare your status to the people living in the slums here with their strugglesi n order to live or survive for their daily needs. You were way more blessed by God to the things that you have and to the things you can gain. Just be strong not only for yourself but for your whole family as well specially your kid, make them your inspiration to be better. You know you can do it. Just believe.
Just want to share...some may think of this as faith or spiritual issue but there were times I experienced what could be termed as anxiety attack, I don't go for uppers or downers but I instead went to an Adoration Room (usually in a church)... and would sometimes kneel or sit..not knowing exactly what to pray or tell God...but learned later, it doesn't matter if at times you wouldn't know how to express what you're going through but with you being there, before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament has such a calming effect, I read the time spent with Jesus (Consecrated host) in the Blessed Sacrament is the best time you will spend on earth...or allow me to share with you a prayer: "Holy Spirit, God of peace, really& truly in my soul, give me thy Blessed Peace which surpasses all understanding". 🙏 💕
It's been awhile since the last time I've seen your vlog watching here in LA😊
God bless you 🙏❤️
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Hope you get through it
Wishing you and your family well! Just take it easy, please.
praying for you and your family, Lauren. It's okay to stop and to take care of yourself first, you do you ❤️❤️❤️. Sending you virtual hugs! We are just here to support you and your fam! ❤❤❤
Hugs.
I hope you're ok Lauren 💗
Filipinos loves you and your Family, just keep going, everyone of us have our own struggles and some are worst, it helps so much when we pray and let God take the lead.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sending you love! Be strong, remember God is always there for u. ❤❤
Hope you will feel better and better Lauren. I miss your family vlogs and now happy to hear from you. Im from Vista, Calif, always watching Josh, Lucas and your vlogs. Stay safe n relax....
Mental health is priority, I hope you will take it easy. It's not easy to move to another country, the honeymoon phase is over, homesickness will kick in really hard plus the culture shock. You got to find what you enjoy doing the most. I would be exhausted physically and drained emotionally if I'm in your place, living with a lot of people. Having a place or home just for my family is a must to maintain my sanity.
Im praying for your health maam hoping you overcome your issue in mental health. We pray for you and your family hoping we see more vlogs ❤😂
Am really glad to see you back. I pray that you will soon be your energetic self.Don't pressure yourself and know that aside from us your followers here rooting for you, God is always with you. ❤❤❤
God bless you..❤❤❤
