It doesn't surprise me that most social media people go through the peak design etc., bags first before coming to a photography brand bag. They were on everyone's wish list. Tenba is a great back; I like it because it's small and still functional. My everyday back is the Lowepro Protactic 450, and my lite version is the Protactic 350. Have fun at NAB!=

That old Macintosh in the background rocks! I'm old enough to remember them when they were new. All the folks in the drafting department at work had them. Those Sony machines just aren't anywhere close to my budget, but I do also love dials on a camera and aperture rings on lenses. Two years or so ago I was able to find a barely used X-T3 at a great price. I'm still using it and really like it. Now, I'm not a video shooter, only photography for now. So, the X-T3 is plenty of camera for me. Maybe I will be able to afford a newer body some day. Until then, I'm still enjoying this one. Thanks for the bag tour! I love bags with MOLLE loops for attaching things. I almost got the LowePro bag that is similar to yours. But, I ended up getting the Hatchback instead because I wanted the access panel on the back of the bag. But, yours has both!! Will have to check it out. Have a rockin' weekend!

Tenba is really really good. They are seriously awesome. Not only are they bags extremely functional but they look great! Not something I can say with many other brands that do camera bags. I rock the Tenba Fulton V2 16L and it holds a truckload of stuff including the MBP 16". Even so, it retains a slim silhouette which is just so satisfying. Can't recommend Tenba enough.

Great stuff as always Sara, it's always nice to see what others carry in their bags on trips & away days as it usually boils down to the things they use and trust the most. I do have a couple of questions: 1. Where I live (the UK) the PD Carbon tripod is over £500 - I know that price can be less of a factor with high quality products, and I really love Peak Design's stuff, so do you believe it's a worthwhile investment for what you get? I presume you value the carbon fiber build for lack of weight, but considering I can find alumin(i)um tripods that have similar low-profile designs & features for less than half the price, I need some convincing, especially with the mixed reviews the PD has received. 2. Do you find it annoying/frustrating that you have to carry an additional charger for your iPhone when everything else runs on USB-C? Yes, there's MagSafe wireless charging but that's more like a power bank (I also have one of these) so I just wondered if it ever bothers you that you're having to reach for a different cable or charger to recharge your phone. 3. Where did you get that unbranded windshield for the Rode Interview Go? Also, you didn't mention it in the video but the A7IV is a pretty good hybrid camera - I lean more on the photography side than video usually but coupled with that 14mm f1.8 GM you would have a pretty good vlogger setup along with your Switchpod. And my great uncle was a carpenter so I grew up around flat pencils - designed to be exactly where you left them!

I am struggling with my bag and computer configuration. I have a Dell G5 15 SE 5505, which is a 15.6" gaming laptop. It's kind of a boat anchor (including the enormous AC adapter) with crummy battery life, but it's my only computer. It's plenty fast for photo and video editing, which is important to me. So, I was thinking about getting a more portable laptop or something that fits better in my messenger bag. It doesn't have to do video editing (though that would be nice), but photo editing is a necessity. I need something with JUST ENOUGH power that is portable and dirt cheap. Used hardware is not only an option, but I prefer to go used. Chromebooks don't seem good enough for the job. I was eyeing computers with Iris Xe graphics, but do I even need that much power? Any recommendations?

I got myself a Tenba bag as well but a bit bigger, due to my Lumix BGH-1. However, my biggest huddle is that I have to make less than 7 kg (15 pounds) as carry-on bag, for my travelling around South East Asia, and I'm trying to find a laptop that is small and lightweight but it can takes a punch in graphics and rendering but man, Tenba is THE BEST ever bag to carry around.

Switch out that Apple charger with a GaN based one, and then use the MagSafe connector to the Mac. The GaN adapters all have multiple ports, plus you can use the ports on the MBP to charge. I carry two chargers that combined are barely bigger than the Apple charger, but I can charge two iPhones, an Apple Watch, an iPad Pro, two Fuji batteries, and my MacBook Air M2; all at full charging speed and with my two USB-C ports on the MBA itself available for additional charging if needed.

Alright, ready to level up? The pen and gaff tape trick is great, but….. The missed opportunity is that a black marker should be wrapped in white tape. Now you can write on it! Need a name tag? Got it. Someone showed up on set with the same bag, tripod, ect as you? Put your name on it. Speaking of names, can’t remember the talent or clients name. Stick a reminder to your tripod leg, or hide it under your laptop. Battery, cord, or piece of gear being flakey on set? Mark it to test later at studio. But only if you wrap white gaffer tape. ◼️⬜️ Love your videos, I never feel like I’m being sold to, or pandered to. Thanks
