"nobody has done one" is THE EXACT reason why the Sainsbury van conversion is so popular!! It's because it's something nobody's ever seen done, let alone how successful you guys did it!! Looking forward to more conversions 🥰🥰 I'm not that much into travel vlogs (but your artic vlogs were still plenty of van-content AND is paced fast enough not to feel sluggish) so I hope you guys will do more vans. Likewise. Luckily I did a lot of traveling before I got sick. Managed to get to most of the states in the US and provinces in Canada. (Worked in the US too.) So I also love being able to still get a flavour of that travel experience via you both. Particularly looking forward to ‘revisiting’ some of North America with y’all. Definitely go all electric in your van. Install a good 250Amp alternator, a descent battery2battery charger of around 100Ah and a LiFePO4 battery bank of around 600Ah, all connected with the correct cabling and you will never run out of power. Cook with two portable induction hobs. You won’t need any solar and any gas and you will be at least 4 to 5 days energy independent. Even a short 2 hour drive will put enough energy back into the batteries for another couple of days of boondocking. Victron energy has all the gear you need for this (except for the alternator for which I recommend the Mercedes Sprinter OEM 250Ah one). I have a camper with such a setup and my batteries are always full by the time I set up camp. I can run a Nespresso coffee maker, water boiler, hair dryer, induction hobs, diesel heater, … and charge all my batteries without any issues. I don’t have any solar panels and have never needed them. I have made a 10.000 km winter trip to the north cape and have never plugged in to shore power. I like your Sainsbury van conversion. I wish it was a 4 wheel drive so you could take it everywhere. Happy travels.

@@truebluetravellers If you plan to keep your current Sprinter for several years, you could consider an Achleitner Mantra 4x4 conversion with up to 3 lockers. This Austrian company converts many Sprinters, even for the military.

A quickly. A: - OK so you get money from us watching the ad's. BUT... Some ad's play for just 5 seconds and some you have to wait until the end of it. Does how long the ad is, make a different what you get paid? Also if we click on the `Skip´ button. Does that make a difference and you get paid less? B: - I didn't think for a second that you `sold out´ when doing your pitch with the `Roads Vans springs´. Most of us like me, are not mechanics like you, but those of us that have an interest in building our own van (brought one, redoing it) find this kind of info very helpful. I can't think of another video where I have seen it. C:- When you were over here (the Nordic's) How did you did Jess do your washing? (forget John. I think that we can all believe what Jess said. Sorry John)! We don't have any laundromats over here (not that I have ever seen anyway).

At the end of the day it’s not for other people to tell you how to work with sponsors if it is supporting the channel, one of the best explanations of KZread channel sponsors is as given this week on the Cade Media channel, moving away from lots of sponsors that limit the creativity to just a couple of main sponsors that still allow freedom to make your own content

I have a slight excess of tools! I ran a classic car repair / restoration garage and had a home workshop for my vintage / veteran motorcycles, plus tool boxes in my recovery truck, then I retired... I now only have my home workshop for hobbies, two proper lathes, surface grinder, 60ton press, sheet metal rollers, 3 foot guillotine, 4 foot folder, Mig X2, Tig, stick welder, oxy welding, car lift, parts washer, plasma cutter, kiln, forge plus anvil etc, nearly forgot, Milling machine, polisher, sand blasting room, paint room, valve facer, and more spanners / sockets than a socket shop, but I still look down the middle isle weekly, well you have to!

I have been streaming content from KZread for 15 years now using a box connected to my TV, never watch terrestrial TV. To me the best content ever. Get an advert and a click forward and the ad is gone. Did try the premium for a while, but the extra cost was not worth it. Watch lots of UK travellers over these years, some worth a follow, some fell by the wayside. But along comes Jon & Jess with something different. A new approach which was wanting me seeing more. A refreshing change on what I had seen before. Fun and laughter, brilliant videography and content to really enjoy. Waiting for the next vlog was just icing on the cake. Long may you make these for us to enjoy.

Absolutely brilliant! I just landed upon your channel for the first time only two days ago and I’ve already plowed thru a couple dozen videos. I’m really enjoying your individual personalities as well as the chemistry you have with each other. I definitely think that True Blue Travelers is going to be very successful, but if you would allow me to offer a bit of unsolicited advice that might help you get to that 100K subscriber goal sooner rather than later - I would say to do as many collaborations as possible with a few of the really well known channels in your particular genre! I’ve been a KZread junkie for at least the last 10 years and have seen that particular formula work for others on a number of occasions. Definitely couldn’t hurt to try! Keep up the great work!!

Hey, I watch a lot of smaller KZreadrs, you could look into having members as an option. For a lot of people it keeps small channels afloat, you can put out a little bit of members only content as a bonus for people (maybe this is where the Jon bikini content can go instead 😂). People don't have to sign up but often people are happy supporting the content they love.

Yeah that’s a really good idea, I think I just hate the thought of people having to pay to watch anything we do, I’d love it to be free for for everyone and have the big companies pay to keep the channel going, although my personal bikini shots would definitely bring in the big bucks 👙😎😂👍

That's the great thing about members, you put out 99% of the same content for everyone free and people support you if they want to. I think us Brits have a hard time with this but this is definitely the norm now since Twitch. But also the reality is it funds better content, the members will know the money is going back in to make better videos.
