I'm 51 and I've been watching hunting videos since they were on VHS. I've seen them all, but by far and above yours are the best I've seen. Your passion for hunting and appreciation for these animals is a thing of beauty. Shoot straight my friend. Thank you for sharing your memories.

My friend I am 61 years old and I've been pursuing my passion of deer hunting for over 50 years. I have hunted with a lot of people and no one I hunted with shared the passion as I did. It was my life. Watching you pursuing charlie I see the same passion in you. When we pick out a deer to pursue he becomes a part of us. I'm disabled now and not able to get as involved with the one on one pursuit like I've done my whole life but I still get out there scout as much as I can, put out my camera's, which is very addictive I should say, put up a blind because I can't use a deer stand anymore, and sit with child like anticipation waiting and watching. God has really been great to me. I was saved in 1985. He changed my life and my hunting passion became more so real because I saw God in his creation like never before. Keep putting him first in all you do, be a witness to everyone you meet and you will not be able to contain the blessings he has for you. Thanks for sharing your passion with an old worn out broke down deer hunter may God bless you tremendously.

I am a suburban hunter in Minnesota. My quest started in 2010 for a book buck. 2014 after multiple passes and multiple encounters that I couldnt close the deal on we get pregnant with or 2nd kid, mother in law is diagnosed with throat cancer at the Same time. We move in with them to be able to help each other. The backyard is known as a well traveled buck highway. I put a cam out for the heck of it and I find a Minnesota state record typical. This deer consumed me. I start thinking of the city property I hunt and have permission to hunt 100 yards from bike paths. This spot hasn't been hunted in years as the city changed it's ordinance years before. I do my do diligence and seek out permits for my father in law and his neighbor who has 10 acres. But by the time I got us permission it was December and I filled my buck tag rifle season. April 2015 we buy our first house with 5 acres...with some buck sign but not much. I was happy to have a place to sneak out to after work but I couldn't forget my obsession. Everyday I thought of this buck and I mean all day everyday. As the season approaches I realize I'm not getting invited to hunt this land again as they now know how big of a deer we are dealing with. My father in law even lied to me saying no pics of him. So I do some research and find a park down the road that I was able to get a permit to hunt. I find one rub on that land right before opener and I know what buck made it. I called out my inlaw and he came clean saying he's not as big as last year. He wasn't but he had more character. I never even put out a cam as I figured with as many stands I found in that area no way would I get this buck. Most of these guys are retired and can hunt anytime. But at the same time they over hunt as well. I sit back from a distance and watch this doe use one trail every night. Man gun season hits and I've yet to see anyone use the stands across the creek. I had stayed away out of respect. Nov 15 2015 I am exhausted I message don paluff world's biggest bow hunter to congratulate him on a deer and express my frustration. He reminded me why I do this, the encounters I've had are some of my best memories even without a kill. That afternoon I relax and check the wind. It was perfect to make my move across the creek. So I did.330 I call in a basket 8 that put on a show on video for me. I almost convinced myself to shoot him but I let him go. 8 mins to go in shooting light I hit my grunt and can call and I pack em up and I hear something coming my way. I look out and on top of the ridge on private property my buck I thought of everyday for 15 months is coming at me from private property. I was at his eye level but he didn't care he was on a mission. 13 yards I let him have it. A chain of events made me think I missed but when I finally calmed myself I got down to find blood. He went 40 yards. My best friend met me at my truck as he was my mentor and I told him you need to be here when I recover this thing. He taught me more about bowhunting then anyone, he kills nice bucks every year. As we approached the buck he looks at me and says OMG Palmer you killed a top 3 buck for the year. 200" gross 172" net. I couldn't believe I did it. 5 years of a question a book buck and I did it. Everyone told me to let it go, it will never happen again. Well every January for 4 years my buddy would get a buck called Casper on cam 1 day and then he would disappear. 2016 he sends me that pic in January and I said he has everything to be a state record. The frame mass and length. 2017 comes I have a rough year with crabby homeowners, but it's the second week of November and the wind is perfect for the bachleor pad. I'm hunting it tonight. I ask my buddy of any sightings on his drives around looking for putting bucks in the local neighbor hoods. He tells me yeah there is one that looks like a moose on so and so road. I realized it was a mile from where I had planned to sit that night. On the way I felt sick and exhausted. But I talked myself into going the wind was to good. 400 pm I hit the can call and grunt call and put em away and look up to see a absolute giant 75 yards out coming btowards me. Keep in mulind I missed multiple doe early this season and not from lack of practice. I range his possible broutes. 20 and 35;yds. Stop looking at the rack, yes he's bigger then obsession... I walk myself through Wahat pin my anchor points grip and pin color. And of course he holds up at 35 yards and his body language told me he wasn't sticking around. I knew I killed him, not a great shot but good enough. So I tell my buddy I just killed the moose. We drag him out and show him off. A guy from the local archery page messages bme a pick on trail cam of him alive. I send it to my buddy the next morning. Where did you get a pic of him he says. I realized what he meant. This was the 1 and done buck we had pics of four 3 4 years. I told him we drugs him out last night. He was so mad at me for shooting him like literally 6 months he didn't talk to me. Like I knew. I told you to shoot a small one he says. I'm sorry I said. Would you pass him... That buck is the # 4 Minnesota state archery typical and grossed 209" and netted 182 3/8. I respect what you guys do as these City deer arnt dumb. Just thought I'd share my 2 200s with you and I'm lined up for. 3rd this year. Good luck fellas and thank you for sharing your great story of charlie.

I grew up in the outskirts of Atlanta. I did quail hunting and never thought about deer. Now I live just outside DC and the deer are everywhere. Their racks are small and some people call them basket racks. I don't do any hunting now but watching Charlie's Story brought the feeling back. Thank you.

I can't believe you guys dont have more subscribers, got into bowhunting on public land near St. Louis 2 years ago. Going to check into suburban hunting rules, regulations etc. We have a HUGE suburban population that stretches across 5 counties and miles and miles of people's backyards. Y'all are a huge inspiration and put out some of the best bowhunting content that highlights the need for what you do and also the respect you give the deer that you take. Keep it up. I figured this would be the best video to leave my comment appreciating your channel. Thank you for putting out the content that you do, and taking the time to inadvertantly teach someone like me with little experience but a passion for hunting.

@53 I just started hunting 4yrs ago, taken two does and took my first buck a small 9, 3 yrs ago with my oldest son in the stand with me, very close to my heart it could have been a doe it didn't matter I was with my son, and he had been the one pushing me into hunting. I've wanted to in the past but the Military and life got in the way. Started Bow Hunting 2yrs ago killed a doe. It has became a little obsession of mine now but the place I've been hunting has dried up, you guys have shown me that there is an alternative now. I expect there is no info on what you guys do, time to start learning. Thank you guys for the inspiration, GOD Speed!!!!

Putting a story like that into perspective was just done by YOU Sir. It was like being right there with you, feelings and ALL. I just ran across your KZread page today, combing through some hunting videos etc. This has got to be one of the BEST I have had the pleasure of watching. To help explain to others what it is like to hunt one of GODS most beautiful creatures, especially one of that caliber. I had to explain it like this! My Daughter was recently married in July of 2022, I remember my Wife talking with some of our friends one day and telling them how she could not wait until the upcoming Saturday to go with our Daughter to try on her wedding dress. I saw the excitement, the happiness, the joy, in her eyes and heard it in her voice. I sat there listening to her and watching others as she told them how she just couldn't wait. As we were driving home later that evening, I said to her! You know when you were telling everyone how you just couldn't wait to go with Kaylee to try on her dress? She replied "YA", I said that feeling you had the moment you were telling it, the joy, the anticipation etc, she said "YA", I said that is how I feel the day before I head to the woods to hunt for "Curly" or "Stud Muffin". Great story and video, keep them coming!

I just found you guys. I'm 46 yrs old.i grew up on realtree and jakie bushman.i now have a 17 yr old son. And he knows how serious i take my hunting. He knows how much i hunt from my heart. There is no words to explain how much the deer i hunt mean to me. And i do not watch hunting videos anymore. Due to the fact they are fake to me. It's all about marketing and bragging. But my son kept telling me, dad i promise you if you watch these seek one guys you will like them because they love it as much as you. I said no i don't watch these new guys they're so wrong in there hearts as to why they hunt. He said dad just watch one video with me. So i gave him the Benafit of the doubt. And i have to say. I'm glad i did. Finally!!! A guy/guys that truly pour heart and soul into hunting an animal with the respect it deserves. You're father's should be proud of you. I am. And i will continue to watch seek one.

Such a passionate video! Truly inspiring, hearing you mention the circumstances you overcame with him loosing his rack or being denied permission to hunt with that firm "no" really does show what it takes to be able to have the chance to take such a spectacular animal. Too many of the big name channels on youtube seem to almost void showing truly what goes into getting deer like this and nonetheless you do it in the suburbs of Atlanta. This is the first video of yours I've watched but I will be watching the rest. Thank you for sharing your story and for what it means you've lit the flame inside of me to work up the courage to knock on a few doors for this up and coming season.

Im about 45 minuets north of Atlanta in Buford, and I've seen one buck on my small patch of land I bow bunt. It's crazy to think there's deer of this caliber where you're at. Great job

Absolutely love all of your videos. Amazing footage and amazing deer. I hunt just south of you guys in Clayton county. Some good bucks running around here but nothing like what roams around in Fulton Dekalb and even Cobb county. Keep up the great work and god bless my friend

As you said I’m one of those hunters that want to hunt but I’m worried I won’t find somewhere to hunt. And I’m still young in high school. But in this video like you said it encourages me to go find somewhere and don’t be afraid to knock on someone’s door and find a place to hunt. But Thank you for what you do as a hunter and also your videos are very interesting and encourage people to do wise and Godly things 🙏🏽🦌❤️

its now 1:34am... I watched this video just over ten hours ago as inspiration before I went for my evening hunt. The hunting app I use said it was an 11 out of 100 for good hunting. I went anyways. I am happy to say that I just shot my number one hit list buck at my grandparents 80 acre property! "Tiny is down!" It is my biggest buck with a bow to date and second biggest buck overall. I'm stoked! Thanks for the motivation and inspiration!

Man, just found Seek One and watched the story of Charlie. Wow it was cool. Felt like I was part of the journey and was happy for you when you got him. Very cool video. I live in the burbs of Indianapolis and haven’t been able to find hunting land for 15 years near me. Keep going back to family land in WI to hunt each year. But you now got me energized to go knock on doors and try to get permission to hunt near me. Thanks guys and God bless.

This is what us hunters live for the pursuit. An in the end, if God willing the harvest. From one hunter to another this is awesome. I could actually feel it, I myself have followed the same deer for multiple years unfortunately my story ended with finding him dead after a winter freeze this last winter. Thanks for sharing!!!!

You have inspired me as a georgia boy to now try to share my stories. To try to do this as well. I've had the passion as you do since I was 3 years old. I only hunt archery. I now live in Minnesota and have two plots over 140 acres that are farm land. I have two bucks over 14 I am growing now. I teared up to this video. Bc the passion is so real and true. I wish I could have the resources you have to do suburban hunts but I dont right now. But I respect you so much Thank you for this Chris.
