Hello friends!
Welcome to a post completion review of one of my recently finished diamond painting kits, "It's Ok to Be Different" from Diamond Art Club. This kit was released in 2024, in honor of Autism Awareness/Acceptance Month. The artwork resonates so much with me, and DAC has rendered it with SO many beautiful special drills. My first diamond art for diamond art club was a partial, and I had a lot of fun. I find them very start friendly. I think with this piece, a partial was perfect. I think the hearts should have just been gold

I’m not sure if it’s my eyes, but watching this on KZread on my phone those orange AB’s look very yellow to me and to me, makes the gold metallic pop more. Even when you zoomed in it still looked more yellow to me and next to that metallic just make the metallic stand out. It could just be my terrible eyes. Thanks for sharing 💜

Also ASD, with at least one ASD kiddo (probably 2) and where I didn't buy the kit because of funds, I love the way that DAC represented like you said. I was about to lose my mind with another puzzle peice!

My very first diamond painting was the partial Chocolate lab puppy and then I jumped right into a Lovell mystery kit. 😅

Hi... the picture is beautiful, also I'd like to share Harbor Freight has a large storage container with adjustable inserts that hold 54 of those containers you used on this picture.

Very nice. I'm still amazed how others can finish kits like this in barely a few days. It would still take me a month, and that's working for 2 - 4 hours a day, including multiplacing. I'm so slooooow! >.< I do hope they restock this one. I couldn't afford anything when it was released and it sold out quickly.

This came out gorgeous. I'm not usually a fan of the rainbow colors palette, but it's perfect on this. If you have any leftover drills, I would swap them out. The contrast is too much.

Thank you for this review. I have to say I do agree with you about the glittery gold part of the infinity symbol amd those drills do look out of place. The canvas turned out beautiful. I have done a few partials but really prefer complete drill coverage but I agree some art lends itself to neing a partial in diamond painting form. Awesome work!🎉

Thank you for your review of this product! I agree with your take on the glittery portion of the diamond painting. If you do decide to take the fairy dust drills out and replace them with another special drill I would love to see the updated review.

Hi Katie, good morning from Los Angeles County. Love this canvas. All of the colors are beautiful. With me, can be used for people like me with ADHD. I believe I have this canvas in my Wish list.

Katie how many paintings had you completed when you started your KZread channel?

I’ve seen a few “by diamond art club” pieces on their website and assumed they had someone in house who was an artist and from time to time would do a piece for to use. 😅

Hi Katie I’m new to your channel and fairly new to diamond art painting. I’ve done 2 pictures so far. If it wasn’t for finding your very helpful vids for beginners I probably would have quit. It had become more aggravating than relaxing to do it.the vid that you made about putting washi around the borders and sectioning off grids was really helpful. Thank you. I have a question or two. Do you have to always keep the work flat on the table? Maybe it was the drills not being placed right but letting the work hang over the edge of the table and not having the finished part covered I had drills popping out. Plus I also read that the bigger the size of picture the more detailed it is. I think I know the answer to that one. Probably yes. That or I bought cheaply made work. The two that I finished really don’t look that great. I did buy one from temu that seems to be better than the ones I bought from amazon. Maybe you can talk in your next vid places to buy good prints. Again Katie thank you for making diamond art fun again

If you had pulled the diamonds to replace the orange dots with something else, do you feel like the kit came with enough diamonds to do so?
