You both took me back to my beginning years in Pentecost with this history. Your grandfather preached at our local church and broke his wrist during his visit. He still peached the night he broke it! Bro. Becton taught at our district camp one year. The lesson he taught about loneliness impacted me greatly. Precious men made precious memories and you are doing the same for this generation.

That harvest time music has great importance to Pentecost in the 20th century and the heroes who spoke on there are owed much of the credit for getting the church to where we are today. I love harvest time. That’s awesome and very fitting that y’all would play it on biblos.

Is there a book written about your great grandfather, grandfather about the wonderful message you and Bro Joel Urshan talked about in this broadcast? God richly bless and keep you! Sis Minyard

Bro. Urshan, being interested in hearing more about this story, i came across a book entitled “Magog: The Blessed People: Russia From Noah to the Urshans and beyond” by Stanley Wachtstetter. The description says it focuses on the Urshan family. Are you familiar with this book? I’d like to confirm the authenticity of its account before I recommend it to others. Thanks!
